I mean cmon brah
There was a silent <sigh> in the second line for the missing syllable

Measured silences
Aspirate. Sighs does matter.
Syllabary ghost.
Count to 5
Count to 7
Count to 5

I used to love that tap to start and stop firmware and I resisted updating for a long time. I've lately found that the Red Panda Tensor does a great job of everything I liked about it.
I'm happy to have my Ct5 for the Nightly firmware now.
Yeah, i have both, usually one at the beginning and one at the end of the chain, and which-one-goes-where is one of the constant doubts i have each time i re-wire the board.
I
LOVE to use the CT5 for pitch shifting duties: MODE 1, feedback set to 0, very short LEN, and DIR1 set to whatever shifting i need. It 's basically a pitch shifter with a fast-tremolo feel caused by the very fast read head speed.
Even though the tracking on the Tensor is probably better, the feeling i got from this setting on the CT5 is uncomparable: it's more aggressive, plus with the secondary knob options i can filter out some of the unavoidable high frequencies derivated from pitch shifting.
Placing the CT5 at the beginning of the chain lets me have a good tracking and at the same time i can record 8s loops in MODE3 and then modify those with the subsequent stuff, and this is why i'd love to have more precise loops with a standard tap-based function: so i can record a riff on time with the drummer/click/whatever and then add effects to it.
Usually i end up with the CT5 at the beginning and Tensor at the end for standard looping/sampling, reverse looping, and general randomness - i just wish its leght was longer instead of its 4.8s

It's a whole different ballpark, costwise, but the Blooper is pretty great at that randomized looper thing, too. I'm happy with my Tensor because I mostly don't care about the 4.8 seconds but it might solve that problem for you.
I wonder how you'd feel about the Dwarfcraft Wizard of Pitch or Witch Shifter. They do that aggressive pitch shift tremolo thing nicely. They don't have the filter, though.

Yeah i think won't ever grab the Blooper unless somebody throws it at me, but i see what you mean.
My hope is just to have the CT5 doing that tap thing on a future firmware, then it would simply become perfect for my needs.
Didn't knew about that of the WOP, fun fact is that last year i got one offered for trade but refused because i thought it wasn't what i needed
Anyway the filter on a pitch shifter is something fundamental IMO, i hope Red Panda improves that on a secondary knob function on the Tensor with the upcoming firmware update like they did with the Particle2.

Received the 5th Anniversary CT5 and recorded my initial noodling.
This is all in Mode3.
Visuals are an old animation that I made (I took rejected old footage
from a 16mm film I made and then scratched into the emulsion and
painted it with various inks).
Lot of synchronicities and happenstance and happy accidents transpired.

We don't really think that there will be winners announced today, right? Not that I'm waiting to win, just curious
was watching and just this one that really spoke to me...
Gear acquisition
A terrible afflicetion
Too many pedals?

It moved me. Very relatable.
Doesn't matter though...contest is a gag.
