Sorry to hear about the car, Joe. Thieves are the worst kind of people.

Posted this in the SS thread, but figured I would here as well. Any of yall heard of Woodson amps? They look like Kustom clones to me - one popped up locally, and I haven't been able to find any real opinions.

I'm a stupid idiot. How the fuck did I miss the Worship show. I have a good excuse as I was with a friends bands laying down about 4 lines of vocals and getting wasted at Earwig, haha. ok, that's maybe not the greatest excuse. Fuck, pissed at myself for missing it.

a lot to catch up on over the last few days...

Christian...sucks about your cat man, sorry for the loss. Pet's always become more than animals, and its a big loss when they are no longer around. Mojo sent.

Joe...theivery sucks, especially with things like cars. Hope it works out dude.

The new BAT stuff is looking great, love the fact that Digitech has recognised how good Mark's designs are and have him designing a pedal for them... :!!!:

I was watching Witch Mountain's gig at Hoverfest last night, and youtube atomatically played the next set, which was Holy Grove...damn...they were really good! Anyone else seen or dig Holy Grove...assuming the Pac NW guys have probably run into them at shows. I'm gonna spend a bit of time listening to some of their stuff today.

In other news, recent purchases have really opened up a flood gate of GAS...and I'm really fighting the urge to buy more shit, which I dont really need. top of my list is a Fender Jag HH with bound neck...and ofcourse the Silverburst LPC...luckily my wife, the voice of all wisdom, shut the shit down and told me to wait till my 40th next year. Now i'm thinking...maybe if i can stretch far enought by next year...an EGC would be cool. But also, i'm thinking there must be some good builders in Australia...but google brings up a few well known ones which are quite expensive...are there any builder in Oz that people know about?

Pope...you got any local knowledge man!

Yo Samboy, I think you wanna hit this thread http://ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=188&t=28890&hilit=harvester and this wesite http://www.harvesterguitars.com/.

There are some other dudes but they're friggin expensive and mostly do really boring shit.
A lot of Australian luthiers are still baffled as to the whole downtuning thing. Seriously.
Shops like Tym's get it, there are probably more and better options down south, but for the most part, get ready for retardageddon.

Also, the doom scene has almost been exclusively overrun by hipster douche bags now, so there's that to look forward to as well. The upshot is more bands tour, so that's all good.
The downside is....well that should be self explanatory.

Hopefully the find some other horse to flog soon.

Giggles at Mr. S and his totally sensitive interwebs drunkery!
Smooth man.
So smooth.

Holy Grove are rad as hell. seen em a few times and had a show once. really dig what they are doing. Disenchanter is another Female voiced Portland band that definitely kneels before the Iommian Alter. Skies Below Has Liz Porcayo belting out madness in Seattle, decent amount of quality lady voices it seems. I'm missing a few I'm sure, Lozen! I dunno, there's more, I'm still up and drunk from watchin the games.
