Tell me more... A cursory Google search revealed a video and a couple links to same, and an interview from 2012 where the Eagle Twin/Hex Cabs dude mentions the Micro T (if not by name then by inference). This looks right up my alley though...

An IEC cable is an IEC cable is an IEC cable...

I think the 0 - 2 - 2 is the best power chord

Just make sure you give it 300 hours of pink noise burn-in first.

I also like adding a fourth below the root, (aka something like 2 - 2- 4 in a standard tuning.)

Agreed, inverted power chords make everything sound heavy.

You people know nothing of truly great tone. If you ever want to stop sounding like total shit, you absolutely must buy this $10,000 power cable.

Krosis wrote:Hey guys, what might be causing my Orange CR120 to squeal when the gain is all the way up and I start to turn the volume up, say past 2? I always assumed it was just my guitar's proximity to the speakers or interference from somewhere (I get a lot of noise in my signal in my house). I mostly play low volume so it wasn't bothering me but I just want to make sure I don't have a big problem on my hands or something.
No clue but the amp repair shop I work for is an Orange certified repair shop, so.....you could ship it our way and we'll take a look for you.

5w Model T, huh? Looks snazzy. I couldn't find any info on price or anything, so if you don't mind sharing, feel free to shoot me a pm.

0-0-2-2 rules for really slow gritty parts.
Ya know, I've always thought my sound wasn't "coppery" enough. Now I know why. Thanks Science!

Do you actually notice any difference? As far as I understand it, it shouldn't really make any sonic difference, of if it does, not anywhere to the amount the marketing makes it out to be. Thicker cable would allow for less resistance I believe? But the iec cable is there to deliver the power from the wall to the power transformer and is not in the audio path, so how much would resistance effect that besides contributing towards keeping a consistent voltage to the power transformer.
And that mini sunn looks nice but I think the same thing has to be said every time a model t pedal or clone comes up. A large part of the sound of a model t is the output section. A model t is pretty much a marshall super bass preamp that goes into an ultralinear power amp. Take away that power amp and you are taking away a big part of a model t sound.
