PT2 came in today and I just got this all wired up! This is the happiest I think I've ever been with my board. For the first time in forever I'm not gassing for anything board-wise. I'm going to make it a personal goal to not buy any new pedals until there's snow on the ground. This will be the summer of guitar projects, and I might try to level up my amp game too. In the meantime, I am incredibly happy with this board! I might try to get ahold of a smaller volume pedal so I can put my TimeLine's aux switch on board. I also need a new power supply because it's a real drag plugging in three different things. I can not wait for band practice on Sunday

and our show with Iceage on Monday

Thank you kindly! I realize the Strymon stuff might be a little to vanilla and/or TGP for this crowd. But they do exactly what I want from reverb and delay. Not to mention the bonus effects in the TimeLine. Shoegaze madness!

The Boss VP is on permanent loan from my brother, so it's not going anywhere. I had one of those DOD volume pedals and my monster foot would always dangle off the front of it. I wonder if a VPJR would fit the bill?

I wish they made some longer lengths! I need some that go across the length of my board and they don't make them.

But my entire board is wire with EBS flat cables now and these are the fucking best cables ever!!
I've got the same problem. 80% of my cables are ebs but the longer cables I've made myself but I'd prefer the ebs. I'll email them and ask them about longer cables. Odds of a positive outcome are likely around zero but anyway. If I hear anything I'll let you know!

They need to develop a DIY idiot proof solderless solution where you can make them to your desired length. I'm sure they would have a lot of people wanting them. Not calling guitarists idiots. I've just heard horror stories of people having a hard time getting solderless Lava and George L cables functioning. That is the only reason that steers me away from solderless.
Until then I'm sticking to soldered Mogami cable and pancake plug DIY.

Thanks UC! It's a great compliment coming from you! As you can see, I'm still honeymooning with your old Mini!

I'm glad!
Strymons have always intrigued me, and I've wanted a DL4 for as long as I can remember. And SS/BS's and CT5. Can't go wrong with that!

Get a Strymon Timeline. Made me forget about the DL4 in about 5 seconds. SATISFY TWO URGES WITH ONE PEDLOL.

There are so many good sounds in the Strymons. I can't believe it. DL4 is and always will be the ultimate looper. I thought I would like the TimeLine's looper more but I'm just so accustomed to the DL4 that I can't get rid of it. Which reminds me I need to swap those switches before they die on me mid-show!
Honestly I think the DL4 might be the most piss poor delay I've ever used. Ultimate looper, shit ass delay.

DSD-2 and Ct5 rocked up today. I'm a seriously happy chappy.
I just broke my second tuner in a year so I just gotta add one of them. The DD7 will swap in and out with a fuzz as the gig dictates.
