finally

there were two ending near the same time on eBay and one went for 355$ which is basically the sale price from perfect circuit

I scored mine for a great price, I've been gassing for one for the longest time. My lal collection is nearly complete

Did you ever get the Angel Ring Boost? My collection is almost complete on the current line. Working on the old LAL line. Nice demo of the truck loud BTW.

We were bidding against each other. I was bidding on both of the ones on Ebay. Would have been fucked if I won both. LOL. Didn't win either. hahaha. I tried, but was like, ok, someone obviously wants it more than me.

will definitely check out more if this ends up being cool.
How much would it be to rehouse them? Are they weird in proportions?

my angle ring and Lluna are just now leaving customs so I should have them soon

along with the cyber psychic I'll have all of the current LAL pedals I want...just in time for his new creations
The truck loud surprised me with how textured and colored it can sound. I was expecting more of a clean boost from what I'd read.

Haha right on... I was hoping to win the wooddragon but it passed my high bid...i was afraid the other one would too but got lucky. I put in a max bid of 300$ and let it roll.

rehousing would be a bit of a job assuming the board-mounted jacks and pots are desoldered and replaced, i'm not sure if they fit snugly into hammond boxes as-is. there are a couple of builders here that have done it.
IMO probably worthwhile to do yourself for what the parts would cost and there are tutorials on the web (especially for the VB-2 clone), i can't see it being cheap to get someone else to do it though.

I think rehousing one would be more trouble than it's worth. I'm running mine through a bypass looper and have it up the back of the board where it can't get hurt.

Rehousing behringers is a pain in the ass. It takes a long time and is a lot of work to get them into smaller cases.
You could probably go to a 1590bb (120mm x 95mm) quite easily though. Major issue is desoldering the pots, which is no joke.
Then I did my Vibrato clone from them, I left the pots as they were as it was too hard to desolder them.
Even then, on a relatively simple pedal, I had to align and drill standoffs, desolder caps and put them on the other side of the PCB.
The easy part was just replacing the footswitch. For other models you might wanna true bypass them, which can be a further headache as you have to set the "flip flop" circuitry to always on, or randomly start cutting parts or traces.
For the work involved I wouldnt rehouse a behringer as the cost wouldnt be economical. You could just buy a backup for less...
It was a fun thing for me to do last xmas as a bit of a project but the risk vs reward sucks to do it for "profit"
im seem to recall having to cut the pcb down to size to fit in the 125b also.

Fuck Behringer, but that Flanger looks neat.
Inbound: Malekko 616 Dark. I still want a Black Fountain or a Ghost Delay, but couldn't pass up a good deal...

Might have to pick up one of those Truck Louds one day. I thought it was just a clean boost too; pretty neat. I was kind of wondering how it compared to the Angel Ring. I am assuming the Angel Ring is cleaner, but you never know.
I'm only 3 away from the whole current line (excluding the Multi Noise Processor...but I have a kitchen to remodel first). I got an Octavella a while ago instead of the Gommorah, which was a mistake...can't find them in stock anymore!
Lluna, I feel, is a very "nice" sounding osc fuzz...always thought it had a nice tone. I've been getting to know the Cyber Psychic a bit better lately. Been running it into the Metasonix TM-1 for some pretty good low volume osc distortion fun (oh, I fixed the TM-1...they guy doesn't know how to pack nothin'...all the tubes were half way out and the jack was damaged...should have been a jerk to the guy and got my money back but oh well).
Can't wait for the new line or my massive MASF shipment to come in: Possessed, Life Convulsion, Kollaps, Korg M01DS limited, and Korg DS10+ limited.

That one's on my wish list as well! But I simply cannot afford it in the next years if our financial situation keeps the same...

On a positive note it seems that he's all caught up on backorders and has figured out a way to churn these out quicker without the long wait....I don't even remember how long ago I was put on the waiting list. When i got the email that mine was available I had almost forgotten that I'd signed up for one

Shipping was super fast considering it came from australia where the post typically moves like molasses.

You haven't ordered a lot of Canadian stuff, huh? Canada Post is REALLY slow.
