edit: oh i think i know what u are talking about. the HI input that says FX LOOP?
i thought the same thing too, but its actually just telling you that the HI input is for if u want to plug the repeater into and use it in an FX Loop, where as the LO input is for plugging your guitar in direct.
OH! I honestly just looked at a picture and assumed that it was a loop. Vapor trail it is for me then.
Somewhat related side note, Y cables that don't have straight plugs/aren't massive?
Generally speaking for a small enclosure Reverb: RV5 vs. RV3 vs. Dr. Scientist RRR vs. Mr. Black Supermoon? I'm looking for something that pairs well with my future RM-1N and I've been leaning towards the RV5 as a sort of jack of all trades type of thing.
Also on the fence about going for a cheaper Seppuku Mind Warp or saving for the big boy Warped Vinyl MK2. Life is too many decisions

Are you opposed to the Flashback et al??? You can make your own print and depending on the model my not have to... I made sick reverse and saved it on my Flash and wit the Analog and Lo-Fi and looper I haven't had to look back, just listen back...
I've owned a Flashback in the past and I wasn't enthralled with it enough to keep it. I'd really only justify keeping a pedal like that if it was my defacto mainstay, but my Catalinbread Echorec is everything I've ever wanted in a delay pedal. I'm looking for a small good pedal reverb to pair with the Echorec.
edit: Unless you meant the Hall of Fame, which I've never tried.
Yeah I read reverb and went straight editable Flashback but meant T2 et al...
The RRR is the end all and be all cause of the BOOST and different modes of which there are two of each... After years of owning two I'm just now exploring the < < side, plus that Rotary...

i've never heard anyone coax a nice sound out of the RV-5 but YMMV, they just seem really tinny to my ears no matter how they're set.
the RV-2 is definitely the nicest tonally IMO but they have annoying power and bypass quirks, RV-3 is basically the perfect utility verb IF you're into more unrealistic sounding verb. otherwise an RRR would probably be the better choice. i'm a sucker for 80s/90s DSP reverb and haven't really been impressed by anything on the market these days though so take that with a grain of salt.

I'm going to add that the supermoon is kind of weak and if easily gets overpowered by Fuzzes. The sway [that's why it was called right?] Is cool for a bit but I got kind of tired of it. It was kinda quiet and very tame but it had some ok dark qualities.

fwiw, i really liked my digitech hardwire reverb for my regular reverb for stacking w/ another crazier one (holiest grail in my case). links up w/ other reverbs well. not super great on its own tho.
For a small box reverb, I am waiting for that forthcoming Earthquaker Levitation. It is basically a ghost echo that will go more crazy balls. Sounds like a pretty good idea.
Ah I forgot about the new EQD Reverb, I'll have to wait for some videos to come out before I try that. I forgot about the Digitech Supernatural as well, I'll look into that. Bummer that the Boss ones aren't the best. I don't think I want a RV3 because my board might be too many delays already haha.
