I just sent in my payment. The last time I was THIS excited about a pedal was when my girl landed me a Devi pedal over two years ago.

the beginning is mostly the momentary feedback switch being held down while messing with the drone/r1r2/gain and stuff. up until the guitar loop in front chimes in then I mostly mess with dialing in the drone.. it can sound like a swarm of nanobots or rain if you dial it right.. beautiful shit. I go back to messing with the momentary feedback button and eventually engage the infinite length switch (it's damn similar to the momentary feedback switch, but there's definitely something extra going on when you hit the switch while infinite length is engaged) I swap between hi/low and mess with every fucking knob. switching between hi/low will kind of reset the feedback  same goes for the r1r2 knob. anyways... it's all the RM-1N here. nothing in front or behind (except the guitar loop). this thing is a fucking MACHINE!!!!!! I'm stoked for a 2nd one so I can run them stereo  there's something to be said when droning out to massive volumes.. sorry for the sound being so washy at times, but there were moments where this thing had every piece of equipment in the warehouse shaking like crazy. thought there was ghosts in there and shit.
i'm glad i can call you a friend. even if i'll never see you again

We still claim mascot rights here, although I need to take new pic with my RM-1 and custom/ILFSS/mini Incinerator.

Yo Andrew, when I have my RM-1 plugged into an isolated power supply I get this gigantic squeal when I engage the pedal. Doesn't happen when it's running on a daisy chain. The only thing is a daisy chain introduces way more idle noise n shit. Which I don't mind either by myself but I primarily play in a kind of experimental/washed-out souly band and it irks the others haha.

It's not really an issue as I leave it on the whole set when I play so I just turn it on at the start with the vol at zero and roll it up so it's not a hassle, just wondering if you heard about this/encountered it before hand.

I fucking love the pedal by the way. I can't get enough of it. Like I said, always on with the band. Moderate mix and depth with the feedback cranked and I just leave it on like that and smash the momentary switch in the more whack parts haha.

Hey dude, yes I've been hearing from people that on certain supplies it reacts weird, I am still investigating this and trying to grab different power supplies and try testing out certain things. I think it's because my circuits including the power sections are nothing close to a familiar formula in electronics lol that with some power supplies it just doesn't work well with, I'll keep you updated when I find some stuff out but it reacts differently with different supplies :erm: So sorry about that dude, but I'll figure it out ;)

If you give it its own 9V power supply (straight from the wall to the pedal, no daisy) that initial squeal will go away. My Echo Degrader made the same sound when engaging it when powered by my Voodoo Labs 4X4, but my RM-1N doesn't care what it's plugged into. Weird, but the pedals sound so yummy I couldn't care less about having an extra single outlet power supply. It would be interesting to find out why it happens though.

On second thought; what's the draw from the Echo Degrader? I've only had it plugged into the high current 9V output (400mA) on the 4X4 (same as the RM-1N works perfectly fine with). The only reason I'm up is because the garbage truck woke me up at the ass crack of dawn, so it's too early for me to test it out on 100mA, but I'll give it a go later for sure.

doommeow wins big time! If I could have one of my dogs sit still next to the pedal for however long it takes me to make a demo, I would. But they're not the most trained or willing canines around. :whateva:

Resincum: You're killing it! You're giving me performance anxiety about my own demo. Good man! :animal:

When I had the tour box I used my Voodoo labs pedal power and got squeals with every pedal when engaging them, it also caused my reverb machine to go into uncontrollably feedback. Now I use a one spot with no problems for my echo degrader and reverb machine.

Yeah I was giving it 180ma isolated. It doesn't squeal off a daisy chain. I have the power supply that came with my el cap back at my apartment, ill give it a go when I return on sunday.

aye when I used it with my PP2+ I would get those crazy squeals.. but when I use a 1 spot it's fine? kind of tripped me out cause I snagged a PP2+ for this very issue lol
*the 1 spot is being powered by the PP2+ as well so idk wtf
