Pretty much just for good rocking sounds. It has basically completely replaced my Walrus Mayflower pedal as the main OD I use, at least for bass. I don't think I've actually used it with guitar yet.

Check the ss/bs sub forum for info, I think its a bias control and is usually set to where it sounded best to Bri.

Yeah it's like the black sheep of the Skychord family in that regard. :lol:

I want to say its related to the Hao Rust Driver, but that could just be word association in my brain linking the two.

I kinda think they might use part of the circuit in their sleepdrones. But that's purely speculation.

Might have worked out a trade, my big muff Pi with tone wicker and some blank cassettes for a boss RPS-10. If it falls through I'm gonna think hard about snagging one off evilbay

So true! I really dig the clean volume maxxxed and the fuzz volume letting just a hint of grunt through... then hit it with your favourite OD with the gain dimed (DOD 250 was aces for this, currently deafening small woodland creatures with the Big Spider out front). So happy to have a TAFM again...
