It's funny. The Thunder Boxx was the LAL pedal I wanted most but I kept putting it off. I guess it's easy to get caught in the crazy fuzz week mode but I would always see that pedal and think that it looks useful and fun. Then my mind would be like "it's not crazy enough, it's an eq and boost, kinda". I finally punched myself in the face and did it.

I'm actually surprised I like the DN as much as I do. It's got a nice bite to it.

You'll have to post a Demo of the thunder box. I would have bought one last week but LAL was out of stock at the time. It's like the cyber psychic for me, I really want one but never buy it?

They've been out of stock for a few months. I should of jumped on that Gomorrah last time I saw one for sale.

The Cyber Psychic is neat but honestly it is my least used LAL next to the Steroid O.D. (which might be because I'm on a solid state amp at the moment). I really like it a lot it's just hard finding a place for it. The other problem with the Cp are the widely varying prices. 220 to 460 is a huge range.

I have a few pedals that are "priorities"(Geiger Counter, EAR AD4096, lal devil tail) that always get waitlisted because of the flavor of the week and that feeling that they'll always be there. There is always that feeling of aquiring something before it is discontinued or it shoots up in price. GAS is a strange haze in decision making. Anyway, I am just glad to get the TB finally.

I'm really going to have to get some kind of a demo setup going. I might have to fish out some recording gear from the garage. I'm getting backlogged (repeater too...that thing is odd...).

I've definitely have GAS for the AD4096. I don't have a delay I like at all. Too many different types of effects, too many neat builders, not enough money or time.

you can always go quick and dirty like me, I just use my iPhone or iPad. It's pretty easy to find that sweet spot where it doesn't clip.
