conky wrote:I'm digging the Black Winter pretty hard. I ended up installing a tone pot on it (left it in the cavity though, didn't drill any holes for it) because it was still pretty bright. With the tone pot all the way up it was just a tad bit warmer just with it in the circuit. Perfect doom machine.

This is inspiring me, to do the opposite. The original pickups in my Yamaha are a bit too dark. Going to get motivated to solder a lead to bypass the bridge pickup tone pot. I'll leave all the gubbins in there in case I want to snip it out later.

Hey, you're alive!

Yeah. I still lurk a lot but haven't really felt like I had much to contribute as of late.

Fair enough, dude. Glad to hear you're alive, bummed to hear about the relationship woes.

Also, this happened:

I mean, the top three are still The Black Keys, U2, and ZE SPRINGENSTEIER, so I think we're relatively safe.

(and, while ranking albums is stupid, I think I like Atma better than Clearing the Path).

Ugh.
If you weren't already having to wade through a sea of hipsters and douche bags at shows, get ready to do so now.

But good on YOB for scoring some recognition where due.

Hugs to all you dudes with lady problems.

I disconnected my bridge tone control. Is it brighter. I don't know? Maybe? Sounds brighter I think. Hard to tell. Might just be placebo effect.

New fella here wanting to say hello.

I feel like this board will be advantageous to helping me reach my life goals:
• Summoning the power of Satan through sheer volume.
• Tips on how best to take drugs to make music to take drugs to.
• How to make diarrhea happen by accident with only a riff.
