Dirge's Youth Chaos Clock Noise Demo!
Youth Clock Chaos Noise? I DON'T KNOW.
[soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/oscelesti/youth-chaos-clock-noise-demo[/soundcloud]
Alright first I play the thing in the settings I had it this morning, for those impatient ones.
This I have only the PLL side on, going through each of it's settings with pauses in between.
After an acoustic interlude, I go through the Noise Ensemble and turn the Spread time noise in between pauses.
After a second longer interlude I activate both to show you the huge different the order switch makes.
I fookin' love how this pedal sounds, although it's currently battling the combination of a Second Voice Deluxe and a 141G combined to take place in my board as the Chaosmaker. My only problem is that it completely cuts off after the 15th fret on the 6th string, but that's minor as I rarely get that far up with this type of fuzz.

Its a modified PLL and a Noise Ensemble with an order switcher.

Inconuucl, that sounds so bad ass!! Skully is making me a dual pedal with that PLL on one side... (at least I think it's based on this)

and this on the other side

Anyways, this got delivered to me 30 minutes before I was to walk out the door for the holidays (ten days). It's going to be a loooooong holiday. Can't wait to get home and play with this baby!

It has a three way clipping circuit and a five way filter circuit that are independent of each other. On his website it says its for bass but i'm getting good mileage out of it with guitar too. on its own its subtle, the clipping adds some nice texture and the filter some color. i found using it with an od/dirt gets more interesting results from it. I'll have to post a demo cause its a pretty neat tool. I wasn't too surprised when i opened it up to see what it was made of.

I thought everybody knew that. It said as much on the Mountainking site.
It's a passive overdrive/low-pass filter.

I didn't know it was passive, but then again i don't pay too much attention to details
its a pretty fun pedal for dialing it in, the clipping adds some really pleasant texture. i can see me using this alot.
