Dude. That is not grunge music, IMO. That's kind of 90s radio rock.
Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Tad, Melvins, early Soundgarden, Nirvana's "Bleach," Seaweed, The Fluid, Gas Huffer, Green Magnet School, et. al is what I think of when people say grunge.
No offense, I just know that you're an avid music fan, and I'd love to see you dig a little deeper.
Eeehhh that was what I was listening to at that time and cut it short for story's sake, sorry if I didn't say whatever the fuck right genre while at lunch.
I listened to Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Melvins, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Gas Huffer, The Fluid and I have their cds. Never heard of Green Magnet School, Didn't dig Tag all that much never heard of Seaweed.
I have dug plenty fucking deep. Thanks for your non-help.
did this while I was loading files to a jump drive of stuff I just recorded

lol, I've heard that saying before as well but your response is gold

Maybe that's cause I'm a prick.

I am how I am and I figured if everyone liked or enjoyed my presence then I personally must be doing something wrong.

I think the bigger thing is that there was no reason to be snarky in your response to Christian. Dude was just making some suggestions based on what you listed. I realize that nobody wants you to type out the laundry list of bands you listened to in that era or in that genre but you can see why somebody might suggest that you've barely scratched the surface in regards to it.
It's just the:
thanks for all the non-help.
that makes you sound like you're consciously trying to piss somebody off. the entire post was totally fine until that point.
and I'm not coming at this from an angle of SLk is a douche bag or whatever. I think your provide plenty of valuable insight and opposing view points in the doom room based on what you grew up on and the fact that you're not afraid to have a drastically difficult opinion. you do a bunch of cool shit.
sometimes you phrase something so poorly that it is downright rude and i don't understand why you'd be a dick.

Seriously. Not the same thing, and even if it was that wouldn't make it any less inconsiderate.
Finding this oddly appropriate:

Anyway… the internet can be hostile and weird… here is some fun stuff!
I've been super busy and smashing a massive order for a new store in the UK whilst simultaneously building custom orders in some very hot weather!

I'm really happy with how the new stuff is turning out, so much so that everything is getting overhauled!
The Slave Driver pedal stirred up a lot of crap about racism (IT'S NOT RACIST - please don't go there… if you wish I'll refer you to this link
http://nicbelor.tumblr.com/post/99448387249/it-has-come-to-my-attention-now-on-two-separate) so it's being changed to
Black Candle.
The artwork is really really awesome and I cannot wait to share it with you all!
Everything is now to be powdercoated and full colour graphics will be available on current production and custom pedals.
Patches are also thrown in on orders over $200 and they also rule.
Spreading the love to you fronds

I'm just glad I checked in and the pants conversation is over, and I have some more listening homework that does not involve horrible 90's bands.
Slk, I'm just gonna pile on here. This is a community. Actions and statements made by members of this community impact the health of the community. Differing opinions are welcome and encouraged. Shitting on those opinions is not. Showing pride in your lack of respect for other members of the community is not a good thing. For those who lurk, and might become a major contributor to the knowledge base and the excellent conversation that has been ongoing for years before I joined it, it's a major turn off to see a big dick contestant acting like an ass.
Personally I like it when people join the conversation and it is a major bummer when long time posters drop out of the conversation. I'd be really pissed of this community and these discussions ceased to exist, and shit like what was just said directly works towards ending this. It diminishes us.
