I don't even want the cab. I build my own cabs, I don't need any production bullshit unless it's for 50 bucks and I'm just robbing shit out of it.

Just tell him "Dude I love you like a brother, but fuck off. I don't want it". I think that's the politest way to do it considering he is pestering you about it. That is what is called a closed NO!

my bassist for Terrasone picked up one of those for $100. at that price it's not terrible, but, it's nothing worth going out of your way to get.

Yea I've had zero interest in b 52s. And like I said... I make my own cabs so I don't have any gas for them. I get gas for me to make another of my own to keep.

So, kinda makes me wonder. Are you satiated? or do you still lust for cabs? Once I built the 12, other guits kinda lost interest for me, and in a way, that's a little sad.
I guess what I'm saying is, have you constructed your cab Shangri-La? If not, what would it be and what's stopping you? Love the builds and in progress pics especially. That shit fascinates me even If I don't actually do any of it.

Long time, dudes. Still been lurking but haven't been posting.
I was just gonna ask what the SLK cabs are and then I remembered what an acronym is...
Yes, the Mauler cabs are great.
Carry on.

So much cab talk.
Not that it's interesting to anyone but myself but I've got about $900 into cabs at this point for a vintage Fender 210, and a Peavey wall of '70s and 80s 610, 215 and a big box 212.
The 212 is 412 shape, super deep, and ported in the bottom half with a 45 degree angle baffle. It's really bassy so I'm thinking of loading in some GT75 speakers I have instead of the stock speakers, thinking that maybe the big high mid spike of those speakers will go well with the boomyness of that cab.

yes I'm completely satisfied. Like after I built my first ones and tested them out and they were fucking balls dropping air pushing bastards then I was like... meh on any other cab. I still like checking out other people's builds like Old Crowe, Atlas, Mammoth. But don't have any real desire for them. Anything that's largely made I have no interest in getting unless I'm picking up for insanely cheap and it's to strip them down for parts.
I didn't have a true shangri-la cab aside from wanting a 612 and a 415 and now I've built them... now I want another set so I can have a pair. Thought about doing a 812 but I would like to be able to load it myself and also have it fit in the back of my truck. so it's only a passing thought.
also thank ya humancertainty I also agree with the group about the new Indian.

12 12's and 8 15's would be glorious.
Will, "From all Purity" is pretty much the benchmark as far as I'm concerned. So good. I honestly cant listen to it to often because of the feelings it evokes. It's punishing. So good.
