ya golf itself is not so bad the shit surrounding it is pretty lame
i only golf once a year at a benefit tournament for my good friend who has ALS.
the tournament is tomorrow so ill be golfing w/ ya in spirit. its always a fun time (& not very serious, atleast in my group) and at the same time a sad time.

The one golfer I knew was a super chill guy, but it was a deal like "you are so awesome, why do you play golf?"

These are all good points fellas. I can have fun doing just about anything really.. I just want to keep myself unaffiliated with golf culture ;)

i hadn't plugged in the pedalboard for a few weeks--i've been preoccupied with breaking in a Vox AC15 amp--and discovered that there's a nasty hum when i play through the board that isn't present when i use the same OneSpot to power a single fuzz. so i'm going to have to tear the fucking board down piece by piece and cord by cord until i find the culprit. and i HATE rejiggering my board. i really don't feel like spending hours fucking with stuff, either.

I've never played golf but going to the driving range and whacking the shit out of balls is fun. I've thought about investing in a custom fit driver instead of my $5 garage sale special just for that.

I've accidentally clipped two different golf clubs into the ground, sending the heads of them flying way off into the distance.

I go to a driving range, like, once every few years.

It's kind of embarrassing when the range dude has to take his armored golf cart out to get the end of your golf club. They make good paperweight though.

A week straight of 105+ is fucking bullshit, with 10 more days to go and then god knows how long it stretches from there. I really only have one goal in life, to move somewhere where I like the weather (pretty much the Pacific Coast north of San Francisco, possibly other-coast Portland - or Asheville).

Also bullshit: I could qualify for Canadian citizenship if my grandmother hadn't naturalized in the US OR if my dad had claimed his Canadian citizenship (grandma was still Canadian when he was born) before he died.

There is some weird noise issue with my Pathfinder that I hadn't noticed, cause I don't play clean very often, and I suspect the speaker is going out...
...any recommendations for a replacement 8"?
I have an old crate combo that's busted (amp), that I have used as an extension cab a few times, and it sounds pretty good...so I may just swap the vox one out for one of those. If nothing else, I can determine if the speaker is in fact the issue, I suppose

Summer blows. I can't do anything outside without feeling dead and every other person in the world is out and about too.
I wanna move somewhere with an eternal autumn.
I really miss having days off in the middle of the week, when everyone else is working. Fuck weekends.

My fantasy is a cabin on a cliff overlooking the Pacific, fog rolling in... plus weed and books.

One of my dickhead neighbors has been setting off fireworks a few times every night since the 4th of July. I saw the cops drive by a couple weeks ago so I'm assuming it's out of spite now.
Whatever, except that we have two dogs who are nervous wrecks once a night, and that's super fun.

Plus they're not bullshit fireworks, they're mortars exploding over the house and raining pieces all over the place.
I'm thinking that, if timed properly, I could get away with shooting him...
