I used my Goatkeeper to control the filter of the Microbrute not too long ago, really fun but not terribly useful outside of a noise context.

Got a 70s acoustic 4x12 bass cab the other day. Sounds pretty cool. And I picked up a Kustom PA head from the 60s, but it keeps shocking me...

$400 is on the good side (they seem to go for 500-600 usually), i would be somewhat wary of how old/new it is and whether it's been looked after, i like those amps but i've seen a couple smoke out.
but if you have a play and like the sound and it's well maintained i would say go for it. there aren't a lot of valve options in that price bracket that aren't built outta cat shit so PV KVLT is good.
edit: courier delivering either tomorrow or friday at the latest - Harvester #37

Dodgy ground issue would be my theory on the amp shocking you. But I'm no amp tech. Maybe talk to the forum's amp gurus. There are a few around here. Someone could probably chime in and let you know who to talk to for good advice.

I haven't spent a ton of time with it yet, but so far it's a ton of fun

Hell yeah dude. The Special Editions are really making me lust. I asked my buddy if it was okay to simply ask my families for two big gifts for me this year. Need the Microbrute and a Bass VI.
