How this is not your most active thread is a mystery of the ages.

It kind of makes sense that his most active thread is his own thread. He's real on the ball about posting new gear clips :snax:

:hello: I hope the demos are helpful, or at least enjoyable. I'm glad I was coerced into making them as they are a great resource for me to revisit my first impressions with all these pedals.

So helpful or at least entertainment when I'm at work. Also you just whip them out so fast I always have new stuff to watch!

I don't think it really took much coercion. :idk:

Anyway, you've probably now made more demos than most other demo dudes.

No not really  but it was the constant asking for clips with my pics that did it. I just needed to know the means...i had never thought about using my iphone  old analogue habits.
otherwise I would just be posting lots of pictures of my new pedals, and that didn't seem to be going over so well in the beginning :erm: I guess I just get away with it now in the GAS thread :)

It just makes sense for me to make the demos when I get a new pedal to keep track of the ideas the pedals inspire. I spend a lot of time trying out combos of pedals that I should film some of that too  Or the " pedalboards" I put together to get the sounds I'm working with on my projects. I probably would if it were easier to film...in my demos I'm sitting on the ground in front of the iproduct so I can twiddle the knobs. Took some getting used to to play like that, should have figured out some fancier method but I'm so used to it now.

Yeah, you're a little more interactive with us now than you were when you first started posting. :thumb:

I think a library of pedal clips is a great way to keep track of settings and sounds and stuff. I spend a lot of time getting sounds with certain combos of pedals and don't really record it in any way. So, sometimes I change out pedals from some really fantastic combination and they're quickly forgotten.

Cataloging your settings is always a great idea no matter what you do; I take fotos, I like the not always remembering what the combo sounds like until you hook it all up and put all the controls in the proper places and rediscover it.

I used to write everything down in a notebook. I've taken some pics too, but not nearly enough.

I suppose if I were in a band and had to play certain songs, it'd matter more.

Yeah, definitely like rediscovering old favorites again.

Yeah your gear demo's are pretty cool. Would be better if you were to throw some of your personality in them. :poke:
