The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening. That's the Wind Fish, he also appears in Skyward Sword IIRC. That whale and I have history (as is evident by my avatar and soon to be tattoo.)
When I was young my family was pretty poor, so it was a big big deal when I got the GameBoy (churches aren't always completely terrible to those outside the faith), but the only game I could afford was a shit 100-in-1 game cartridge that didn't have the ability to save. One of the games in it was this zelda game, and I would always get frustrated not being able to finish it. One day when I didn't have school I decided that enough was enough. I sat down, new battery pack fresh in, and I played nonstop until the end where you meet said Wind Fish. Lets just say that the feeling of beating that game is something I don't think I'll ever be able to replicate. :') Specially since it didn't save afterwards, an ephemeral victory.

That is a beautiful story.
And the pedal looks awesome! i actually got him to build me an A/DA flanger too a little while ago, no blend or fuzz-factory-tier craziness though. It's a brilliant sounding pedal, i've tried my fair share of flangers and that one is definitely it's own beast, nothing quite like it.

duuuuuude.
i can assure you, the sounds you can get by combining these two pedals alone are almost infinite, you're gonna have so much fun.
the dirt mode in the bitquest is awesome but i like running the elements after it and using the clean mode because the expanded controls are awesome. they're such a good combo.

Coming: IBANEZ THRASHMETAL Soundtank...

I remeber hating the one I had.. but I kind'a want all the sound tank dirt pedals if only to do a shootout ..I think all I need is the TS

I'm not holding out for a fusion.. those are too rare to bother...

I know that i've bought too much shit this month, so I had to sell some more stuff so I wouldn't eat into my savings. But, this beauty is just what I've been looking for.

I figured as much after only playing with them separately for 30 minutes each last night. Can't wait to dig deeper!
I'll definitely try running the bitquest into the elements. Good tip sounds good!

Aaron from ARC Effects is awesome. I had let him borrow my Tall Font a long while ago so that he could trace it, which later turned into the Big Green.
This showed up last night. It sounds exactly like my Tall Font, to the T. And it has mids options! So I can finally have a suitable gig-worthy replacement for my muff.
Super stoked on it. And then as I pulled the box out of the packing that it came in, the giftcard fell out too. Like what???? Completely unexpected, man, I really can't give more thanks to Aaron.
