I was going to suggest likewise.
Sorry, grammar and spelling nazi.

I'm lamenting that price, it pushes it out of my reach for now. And probably for a while.
I wanted to get myself one for Christmas.

Firstly, I myself am also a spelling and grammar guy - however I have about a million things going on right now and I'm trying to commit to all of them with the same level of enthusiasm etc. So sorry for the minor mistake!
Secondly, the price is incredibly reasonable considering that I'm a one-man operation offering a full colour, powder-coated box with the most expensive knobs on the planet on a preamp pedal that will rip your face off if you get too close.
These are factory (if not better) quality and you literally can't get anything on the market that sounds like this!
And YES, all prices are in AUD.

samzadgan wrote:So...question...would you be able to build a 2 channel ss amp and have this as the dirt channel, and a much lower gain version as the clean channel?

Answer, yes… yes I could do that. :thumb:
I would also be interested in how the power version would work and what kind of wattage you were interested in… PM me and we can discuss!

Sorry man, I'm not complaining about the price. Nick (dunwich nick) prices his gear within the same range and I have the same sad face whenever he does a run. It's not where you builders put the prices, it's my inability to meet them.
Student lyfe.
I know it's tough when you guys are one man shows. And you want to offer quality products that don't cut corners.
That's why I get cut up even more, because I love high quality gear and I have no qualms about paying for it if it is built right.
But my broke ass is broke.
So apologies if you thought I was griping about that pricing. A I stated, it was lamentation as opposed to sour grapes.

I totally understand man!
I just want to make sure that people know I'm not pricing it that way for no reason.
My pricing doesn't even reflect R&D, design work of circuit and the art, assembly and the many many hours I spend before and after my allotted time frame to finish pedals etc etc
At the end of the day - I love doing this and will continue to offer the highest quality devices because that's what I would expect if I were purchasing something!
Tour box before christmas is well underway - might even have it loaded on a pre-built board that I'll fly up to QLD myself!

I didn't realize it was a preamp at first. Considering what some others charge for a preamp, that's extremely reasonable. I know the Meat and skyhammer pre's have a few more features but those are around $700 so I think you priced it well. Sounds great. I'm with Whisk, how much shipped to U.S.? not promising I'll get one yet, but it's tempting. Kinda hard to justify more dirt right now lol.
Killer looking and sounding box you have made there for sure.

I'd say you guys would probably be coming in at $280-90us depending on the exchange. Keep in mind that shipping from Australia is more expensive than shipping to.

Yeah dude, again, those are the sorts of things I don't mind paying extra for.

Hey dude, Any chance I could get in on this tour box? :yay: You are welcome to bring it up to the Grampians your self and camp out on the property. We could have a doom out and smoke out too. Awesome mountain views. Lots of kangaroos too. :thumb:

I'm highly doubtful that my work or bank balance will allow it to happen, but I might look into it...
That'd be a pretty rad road trip.
2 day drive to the grampians from bris?

Edit: hmmm, google maps says 22hrs, 2030km. Not outside the realm of possibility...
