Hunterjames and Jwar are both awesome in totally different ways. I'd love either of those boards.

Thanks for clearing up some stuff, scruffie. :thumb: You, too are a hero for resurrecting a fallen idol.
W/R/T the power transformer+internal regulator, I've noticed a difference in performance when plugging directly into the wall and behind my voltage regulator/line conditioner.
122v direct from the wall vs 110v through the extra gear.
Power here is particularly noisy and fluctuates due to the proximity of NYC, but what I hear[d] seems like more is going on than the lower noise floor and increase in articulation @60-80hz.
FWIW I swear by that stuff...all my gear sounds remarkably better through the power filtering...

Also sheesh @jwar. That's quite the....nice asset ya got thar

Man... that DMM was a special case, it's like a frankenMM, the board was carved up with a knife for some reason, parts removed, no transformer, random holes drilled but once going again it sounded wonderful.

The noise may well be the power regulator/filter caps, a full service would probably reduce that fluctuation. Also, the regulation is not done by a 7815 regulator but by a power transistor/zener set up, stable enough but not perfect.

Post links to your band if you have them.

humanruins.bandcamp.com is one of the bands this board gets used in. Grind band doesn't have anything up yet I think?

Cool, kind-of an Antischism vibe, vocal wise. Nice stuff. Didn't realize you were an Aussie. Are you into disembowelment? Do me a favour and tell Inverloch to release a new album!!

Got a new amp (see in the AMP thread) so I set up a board just for it while I revamp my other setup:

Image

Guitar > Pitchblack > Dunwich ODB V.2 > Amp, FX send > Akai Headrush E1 > Dunwich Clean Boost / Buffer > FX return

fell for the life of excess... all my pedals in one board

the hardcase made me feel safer about my pedal, but the borders were too high to comfortably turn everything on... so i went back to the gigbag. I will probably just throw in a blanket to pad the top of the pedals for car rides/instruct my friend to be more careful with it...

I also got my DM-2 clone fixed, so it's back, revived with some HUGE amp knobs in the left bottom corner... and the Schlatte booster is back in the beginning, because it will help me level the output differences between guitar and bass, because there might be some instrument switching happening from time to time...

to be honest - I probably don't need two delays on my bass board  but I just feel so good with everything wired up...
(for one band i'll probably use all of it, for another one i'd be good with about half and for the third one with about a half again)

Thought you were throwing me under the busssssssss. :D :D :D

Is the Randall the only amp you have with an FX loop? I can't remember. How are you feeling about the loop? I'm so used to everything out front...

ALSO.

DarkAxel -- that twin peaks black lodge pedal is awesome. What is it?
