Exactly my thoughts. Of course, I'll have to gradually save. That's what I like about it. I have time to save.

I've got a year to save for the Openhaus and now I know I love it because my friend Excane let me try his. So easy decision.

I wouldn't want to wait that long for all their pedal, but they make great stuff. All the demos make me happy.

Does the tube actually do anything? I mean, don't tubes need transformers to deal with their higher voltage requirements?

They're just transistors that need to warm to work, so a preamp tube shouldn't need a bigger transformer than your average pedal. It's probably got a higher than average current draw to get it up to operating temperature though.
