Don't worry about it, venting is what this thread is for.
That conversation would have happened sooner or later, and the fact that it became painful indicates it was worth having, at least from my POV. An echo chamber is painless, but a free exchange of ideas is meaningful.
Edit: but I'll add that it was never my intention to cause anyone pain, if I did, then I apologize.

Main reason I really fucking hate my post office: rather than knock on my door, the postman decided to just put a, "sorry we missed you while you were out sticker".
I've been here all fucking day and they never once knocked.

I reached my wit's end with this last week and called the post office the morning something said it was going out to tell them I will be home all day watching the door for the postman. I've seen them walk around town with a bunch of those "sorry we missed you" cards pre-written. Turns out if you let them know you're waiting and be a bit annoying about it they do at least seem to deliver it.

I'm strongly considering getting one of those porch cameras just to show that they've been doing this.
They also like to just drop big packages with intercoms/radios worth upwards of $1,000 in the snow/rain next to the garage door rather than walk an extra twenty feet to my front door.

I got the Ring and did just that. Fedex threw a very expensive package of mine and I had it on recording (luckily nothing broke). I sent it into them and they said they would handle it. I've not had any issues since. All the delivery people know what it is. LOL.

It's sad people choose to be shitty at their jobs unless they know they are on camera...

Power without ground? In the whole appartment? I wouldn't even turn on a washing machine!

Yeah, the entire fucking apartment complex is without ground apparently. Looks like I'll have to move.

I hadn't thought that something like that could exist. I bet that such a house had already been evacuated in Germany.

I have no idea what the building codes are there, do you have any recourse to complain to the landlord and have them install a ground rod and update the main electrical box for the building? Maybe organize with some other tenants?
I've never had that experience in an apartment. The first house we bought, in California, didn't have grounding and we paid an electrician to update the entire house, as it only had 5 breakers for the whole house, very few plugs and nothing in the garage. That was a big undertaking though and sort of built in to the cost of buying the house. Didn't have the same experience with the house we're in now in Ohio, but I did have to have the breaker box updated and wires ran in the basement. Most houses built in the 50's here (which is A LOT of houses) have really out of date and sometimes ungrounded electrical and you have to expect to update it if you're buying or live with it if renting. I did run some pro audio gear without grounding for a short time, but I used some of those plugs that manually ground to a screw in the outlet cover. I was always very nervous about it.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like there's anything I can do, other than move or rent a room, which is expensive. The law says that if the installations were legal at the time they were made, they're legal now, though a breaker box is required. That's what I got from skimming it anyway. The guy I talked to said that a ground could only be established, if the housing association decide to do a major renovation of all the buildings, which isn't going to happen anytime soon.
On the positive side though, I've been living here for almost 6 years and could use a change of scenery.

Can't hurt to start looking around.
