That board is nice, been thinking about putting my dstr sr before dirt also, I may try to grab a dispatch master for that duty.

played my board at band rehearsals tonight...fuck me that DT Snr is amazing...and the Grand Orbiter phaser is the best phaser i've had, the amount of control you get over the phase means you can get the exact tone you want out of it...very happy choppy tonight.

there are a lot post-verb dirt guys out there i seeee

how does having dirt after your reverb change your sound as opposed to having dirt towards the beginning of the chain?
Im aware that I can try it out for myself but I wanna hear some one else's opinion on it.
what are some good post-verb dirt pedals and which ones arent so good?

It has more "flow" to it, as the attack is lacking with the mix turned up on the reverb. It all depends on settings, but I love having mix close to maxed out with long decay on the verbs and running muffy and/or oscillating fuzzes after them. My Algal Bloom (with oscillation mod) after my Context w/ an extreme plate setting is by far my favourite. It's like a tidal wave of fuzz wrapping around and enclosing your face. Yum!

nicee that sounds killer, Im definitely going to try that. I recently acquired an algal bloom myself and im definitely going to test it out towards the end of my chain now

Go for it!

I like holding chords and simply drumming my fingers on the back of the neck with my picking hand, before strumming with the soft part of my thumb THEN with a pick. You can really slowly make a chord progression more and more intense that way. Nice way to build up a song. For me, at least.

Exactly this...

Was running a RV3 before dirt, which worked well playing alone, but the damn drop in signal when I engaged the pedal kept constantly throwing me off tempo when playing with a band. Still haven't replaced my pre dirt verb, been thinking about looping alot lately also but can only imagine the problems that it would cause me keeping up to par.
