There could probably be a separate thread for this but...regarding Japan...don't tip and don't eat and walk? I'm trying to go their at the end of this year so any helpful tips to make my week there as assimilated as possible would be great (I know I have to do my own research but I just saw this comment this morning).
Has anyone been to the club Vent in Tokyo? Sorry, carry on.
I think it's just so you keep the streets clean. When I went, every one eats snacks and drinks outside the convenience stores, or at a small park where there are bins

i want to rerecord my band's ep with an engineer i know better. it's so frustrating how many liberties this guy has taken. and how many times we've had to have him remix them out.

So I shouldn't go to Japan and be like "Ehh I wawlk'in ereeee!" while munching pizza and just generally being "really cool"? (Very obviously joking)

What kinda liberties? Do you have someone in a "producer" role?

Dropped off my vacuum cleaner at a repair place yesterday around noon to get an estimate. Guy told me "we'll call you later this afternoon or tomorrow morning." That time passes so I calls him back. "Oh, you dropped it off yesterday? We'll probably call you this afternoon or tomorrow."
You fucks. You fucks! YOU FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!

How busy were they?
I've definitely done that before only to realize that there were 5 other people ahead of them that needed something looked at and that I shouldn't have said, "oh, it'll only be a day or two".

I dunno, I dropped it off in the middle of a work day, but there weren't a lot of people out and about yesterday because we had snow. The thing that pisses me off about it is that it's the same guy I talked to 24 hours ago and his timeline shifted and he wasn't like "oh I'm sorry, something came up." His tone was more like "well if you dropped it off yesterday, you realize it's likely we probably wouldn't call you back until this afternoon or tomorrow." Like I was the one who was calling too early despite what he had told me.

I stepped on the on/off toggle on my Fuck tonight at practice and now I got no boom.
The rest of the pedal works fine but I never realized how much I used the crackle till I can't use it.
