Wee bit o Khemmis for anyone interested. Filmed at our performance at Denver Black Sky. My vox cut in and out, but whatever, super pumped on the footage and mix! DBS was a goddamn rager. I had to sleep in the parking lot of our practice space for several hours.

From peeking at the innards and playing, it seems to be a Rat with multiple clipping options. It pushes hard like a mofo, but I can't seem to roll off enough of the high end with the tone control. Supposedly, it's not wired like the passive high cut filters like standard rats, so even dialed all the way down it's pretty raunchy.
Can I change the value of the pot to get it to a controllable range, or would it be a more in depth change than that?
I've got a Biyang Mouse and it's the same pedal. There's a single resistor that the rat calls for 560 ohm and they put a 56k ohm on at the factory. You've gotta swap that single resistor and then the fucker sounds goddamn great. I made the mod on mine and love it.

Got a little something in the works...
This will be a preamp that will sit on top of your amp or in front of your DI.
I've got a foot-switched /pedal version as well!
OR120 with some hair in there for good measure.
Non footswitch version will have a headshell like any matamp/orange.

Beautiful
I love when shit like that happens. I had some dude want to talk pedals one day when I was wearing an EQD shirt.

This seems interesting.

This is a nice page with nice things on it.
I think out of all of David Lynch's stuff Eraserhead has the least amount of viability in revisiting, even if I'd recommend it first to someone who was only going to watch one Lynch movie.

YEAH! ERASERHEAD!
Also, Belor, that looks intriguing....
Finally got off my arse and am currently listening to the new Pallbearer.
Epic shit is epic.

This is a good sounding tune. A bit Yobbish but that's a good thing as far as I am concerned. I know nothing about this band so don't tell me if you played a show with them and they were dicks or whatever.

Matamp style preamp looks cool. I've been thinking on a similar preamp based idea recently not that I'm a builder or anything. Really digging the idea and was looking forward to the DA-120 pedal big time. Still am.

How soon? After Christmas?
Nick, seriously, why you gotta drop shit every time I'm broke as fuck? Do you watch my bank balance like the stock exchange or some shit?

or we're all broke ass fucks with too much stuff that we'll definitely use sooner or later. I really should do a pedal sell off. There are a few good ones that I'm not using currently.. but... they are good ones.....

Yeah, I just did a round of culling and with financial insecurity looming another round would devastate me entirely.
I don't have enough stuff to cull.
It would just be "deciding what I can't live without and gritting my teeth".

Dude, Inter Arma RULES. Sky Burial was one of my favorite albums of 2013. Maybe my favorite. They take sludge, doom, black metal, atmospheric/post-rock, and roll it all into one massive ball of righteous. They toured through here with Mutilation Rites, and it was a badass goddamn show. Oh, and Primitive Man opened. Great times.

The whole song slays, but DAT RIFF around 6:18. Oh, also I suppose you could listen to it on their bandcamp -
