Fuck yeah, Hexis rule. Played with em this summer, and they are intense live. Check out the split they did with Primitive Man, both sides rule hard

that's fucking rad. they remind me a bit of celeste who are also heavy as hell.

That's like 90% of the description I look for in bands. Add ambient and I know I've found something I can listen to most days.

I like the new EW just fine. More than Black Masses and We Live, not as much as Witchcult Today, Let Us Prey and Dopethrone.
I gotcha. I gotta admit though that the monstrous bass tone is what makes this album sound heavy so it would probably be lacking with out it.
I agree completely.

All though Saturn's Children off We Live is one of my favorite song's of theirs.... but its the only song on that album I listen to.

Chris Fielding at Skyhammer (Jon from Conan's studio) mixed the new EW album.

I need to give it another listen all the way through, but I like it just fine after the first listen. I'm not doing backflips or anything, but it's certainly producing the kind of sounds I want to be in and around my ears.

I met someone wearing an Earth 2 special low frequency t shirt today at uni, whilst wearing a melvins shirt
We looked into each others eyes, stopped, shook hands and got on with our day
Beautiful

At Riot Fest this past weekend I saw three others wearing a Melvins shirt whilst I was wearing mine.
Also another dude with a Reps for Satan shirt, but he moved to fast for me to say hello.

Is that for the double fuzz + LFO circuit you were working on?

No its the Ge fuzz I posted a few days ago. There is a different etch for that pedal you are referring to

So I temporarily acquired one of these yesterday:

From peeking at the innards and playing, it seems to be a Rat with multiple clipping options. It pushes hard like a mofo, but I can't seem to roll off enough of the high end with the tone control. Supposedly, it's not wired like the passive high cut filters like standard rats, so even dialed all the way down it's pretty raunchy.
Can I change the value of the pot to get it to a controllable range, or would it be a more in depth change than that?
