I'm excited! This is probably going to be in lieu of the Dungeon Master. But we'll see when the Box box gets here.

I wanted chunky angry punchy drive tones. And that seems to be what the Mercy Phuk does. And I've always wanted try W&C.

I haven't had GAS for a pedal in awhile. It seems weird. I want a Wombtone, but I'm so meh, it's just a phaser. I kind of want a Timeline, but I'm like "MEH already had it once" lol.

It's weird. The one thing I want is a damn fuzz pedal. I thick, meaty fuzz. But I have tried soooooooooooooooooooooo many. I don't even know where I'd go from here. I starting to become super picky about shit.

I want a fuzz that is low end friendly, no blend (I fucking hate clean blends, just let it be natural and not kill my lows), active bass friendly (this is huge!), and sustain for a long fucking time.

Have you tried a Mastotron or Fuzzolo? That would be my recommendation based on your requirements. Fuzzolo has an internal jumper for active pups... Mastotron has an impedance (push/relax) knob for dialing in the proper series impedance for active pups.

You know, I've never actually tried a Zvex pedal before. I had a clone of a Woolly Mammoth once. I'll have to give them a shot!

I keep waiting for this guy named Joel from Chase Bliss to announce a fuzz pedal. :) hahaha

i agree, you should have seen the action on this thing out of the case. i could almost fit my pinky under the stings at the 12th fret. but a little shim was all it needed, i believe the high action helped me get the low price.

So this is the result of my TR-2 trade back in B/S/T, Dial-Up! It's an Uglyface with an LFO that can be switched from triangle to a ramp up/down shape. The Gain knob ended up more or less controlling the range of the LFO, but that's awesome! I can get all sort of glitchy circuit-bent Gameboy tones out of this and I love it. Doing patterns synced up with the LFO rate yields some awesome results, kinda like a mouth harp that went through a bitcrusher.

Eventually I'll find some of those rubber MXR knobs and change the freq knob to it. (...and one for my Ditto's volume, but that's another story.)

Man, that looks really fun. Uglyface intrigues me.

So, I was going to wait and just post pictures when I got them, which Im still going to do, but I had a big flip this weekend, and I wanna share the results.

So, out went my Second Voice, Mini, and BitQuest. Ouch, right? Well. Not too bad, because I have incoming,

Wren and Cuff Mercy Phuk
MASF Raptio
Iron Ether Frantabit

:omg: :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg:

Holy damn, its going to sound like Big Black and Squarepusher got into a fight. Which, now that I think about it, may not be a bad direction to go.

I'm GASing bad for a LAL Gomorrah but I couldn't pass up the Frantabit. DAMN YOU JWAR!

Gomorrah will wait.
