WOAH!!! When did you get that Randall?!?

Is it a tight metal machine or can you coax it into something a little different?

Saturday. :yay:

By its self its definitely geared towards a tight metal machine, but also excels at punk / rock in general where you do alot of palm muting. The clean channel is super sexy too. But put a good boost in front that adds low end and your in stoner heaven. I put the ODB out front and it's now got gobs of low end, enough mids to cut through an 8 person band, and enough saturation to make any gain head proud.

Randall Diavlo RD100h, it's a 3 channel (shared eq) 100w 4x6L6 Mike Fortin designed high gain beast. The cab is a Randall RS125cx 2x12 + 1x15 Emi Legend loaded. The exact opposite off my usual setup.

nice man...its funny, its much like the Laney Ironheart I had...on its own, was geared towards moderns stuff, but so easy to make it a doom machine too.

i guess, marketing these amps to that crowd and making them look very metal, means they sell a lot more than calling them a standard 3 channel amp with versatile tone...especially with the LED's to light up the insides!

congrats mate.

It is very much like the Ironheart in tone and aesthetic actually. The ironheart is a bit darker and thicker though in vids, while the Diavlo is tighter and more cutting.

It's very possible, Marketing is a weird and sketchy side of business.

Thanks!

Time to get my D-Beat on. :yay:

That Randall is damn sexy. I'm really digging their new lineup of Fortin-designed amps. I'm GASing hard for a Thrasher...

Thanks buddy! It's doing great its a tad bright but is otherwise balanced really well and the 15 definitely adds a a good dimension of punch and feel.

Yeah dude the Diavlo, Thrasher and Satan all look and sound pretty damn sick. I'm really intrigued by the Thrasher and Satan's frequency dependent gain controls, being able to super saturate the low end while keeping the higher frequencies a lil cleaner and tighter would be really neat.

Why thank you sir!
