Theres also a Crate Powerblock I have laying around here that oddly enough goes amazing with Fuzz pedals.

Captain Sensible of The Damned used a Crate Powerblock into a Marshall speaker cab last time they were around and he sounded amazing. I was really impressed, couldn't believe it was coming from the Powerblock.

by far, my favorite amp out of all that i have owned. i did the twinstack mod as well as switched the input jack to a high quality neutrik. will probably mess around with cap values in the tone stack.

the reverb on this thing is amazing. i will probably keep this one forever just for the reverb!

How do you like the twinstack mod? I got a tweed version a few years ago. To me it sounded great already but thought about doing the mods to improve some of the quirky things but wanted to wait until it was out of warranty. I did swap in a set of JJ tubes which gave it a slight tonal improvement. But the MAJOR step up came from switching the Jensen speaker (already good) for a Weber 12A150A. Really took it to a whole new level. Much more rich and full sounding, I couldn't believe the difference. It comes pretty close to my 70s Princeton Reverb now.
