Just don't like them or never tried one? They have a great range of dirt. And a modders dream. There is so many mods out there for them.

Rat on neck bucker with tone rolled back is one of my favorite tones ever

Stacking a germ fuzz face into a ruetz modded rat with your volume knob rolled back a bit is one of the nicest, crunchiest overdrive tones you will hear. Very vintage sounding.

Always preferred the Turbo Rat personally, especially on bass.

I actually don't like Rats on guitar but they're pretty fly on bass.

I've never tried one. I don't have any general dislike for them, just never tried one.
