Coming: New home. Woo only 1 roommate!
(Thought was going but now probably isn't): I listed this electric upright Wishbass a few weeks ago on Ebay. Rant:
It's huge, heavy, awkwardly shaped, and just a pain to keep around. I listed it as local pickup only/will not ship, because I knew it would be a pain in the ass to ship. Well I'm in PA, and the winning bidder was in CA. I waited a couple weeks for him to arrange a pickup, but he obviously couldn't. So now he's bothering me to ship it even though it's not what I wanted to do in the first place. I went to fedex and they said they wouldn't pack it, but go to uhaul for bigger boxes. I went to uhaul and they said they didn't have a box big enough, but I could buy 2 boxes, but would still have to pack it. But once packed, it won't fit in my car. So after dropping a chunk of change on boxes, packing peanuts, and packing tape. I have this giant fucking box in my living room waiting for a fedex pick up once this guy pays for shipping. I send him the quote and he says the price is too high for shipping. I broke down the pricing of actual shipping, materials, my wasted time, and a small asshole tax, and thus why shipping seems high. If he doesn't pay by Friday I'm just gonna relist and flame him for not respecting me as a seller.
tl;dr: Ebay sucks.

Yeah... I've tried to be patient and wait for him to arrange this because he did pay immediately, but I'll probably just refund his money and relist it, but willing to ship since it's all boxed up now.
