Please excuse the messy board and poopy picture, I have been recording a lot this week, and I made a short diddy featuring the Boss PS-2. I am finally making some sounds I've been dying to make for awhile now.

Comp > tuner > white light > rat > flashback > trem > Cathedral
Bought the tremolo last night, totally into it. Also picked up a snark clip on tuner for $14 bucks, considering losing the TU2 and adding my PH-1r or picking up a Muff variant, maybe a pharaoh or a musket with a small footprint.....

don't lose the TU2...its got a pretty good buffer, and you may lose some signal in that chain without the buffer (thats assuming all your other pedals are true-bypass).
what do you think about the white light? and how do you use it?

I have the buffer turned on on the flashback so I'm thinking it'll be okay.
I love the white light - I use it like a preamp, almost always on, sightly boosted, gain around 12 oclock. I really like it!! It's a bit noisy though, even with the isolated power supply, but I can live with that.....

word, what do you use it for if you know what I mean? I love the sound of it in demo's I've heard but I'm curious as to it's wider aplications.

Audrey!
Did a little work on the board today and am quite happy with the sounds coming out of it. It's a little (a lot) more complicated with what I have been playing into so it feels a bit weird, but it works. Has been just delay > delay > od but I've been wanted some modulation so the m9 came back out with the expression pedals. Then there was a hole on the board and the freeze pushes a partical verb just right, so... (makes me gas for a Superego.)

Mine is a Reverbamate, which predates the Sole Mate. The main difference is the Reverbamate has dual dedicated outs; a Dry and a Wet...so you need a 2ch amp (or 2 amps, or a pedal with stereo inputs) to blend both channels. I really like it. It doesn't compare to a Fender long-tank or '63 tube reverb...but it has its own thing going on. A bit more metallic and lofi...in a desirable way. Plus you can kick it

OK but I've had it a year and don't think it's going anywhere...at least not anytime soon. Just don't hold me to that

Right now it's being fed the full wet reverb from the Reverbamate, to both modulate and resonate it with that throaty metallic tone you've heard in demos. Following it with the Shape EQ helps tame some of the insane output. The MC would be a lot better if it had a Master Volume control or some kind of gate/limiting/rolloff option. Also a wave shape knob to blend between triangle/sine/square etc. It can and does get ridiculously loud when you hit the sweetspot with the right note. It's also very interesting when used with a drum machine & sampler, almost as a filter...and even pitchshifter.
