So I scooted my booty down to Guitar Center today with my tele and the ssstampede to test amps and instruments.

4 hours later....

I now have GAS for a Vox combo amp in red. Sounded really good when cranked and with the ssstampede fucking it up it sounded gloriously broken and sludgy.

I also have GAS for a used SG. Probably gonna dump off my Les Paul copy for one, cause all the ones I played jived so well with me and sounded great with the stampede. Nice and buzzyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Gas be had for an Orange bass amp combo. Got to play one for a bit and it sounds so good. Also got to play an SG bass, one of the new "120th anniversary" ones. Not as many frets as my p bass lyte has, but THAT FUCKING MUDBUCKER. UGH YAAAAAAAAAS. So I'll probably get one as some point anyway.

And I want the drop.

Boop.

1. Take a pedal to a guitar shop.
2. Buy an amp that sounds good with said pedal.
3. Buy a guitar that sounds good with said pedal, and said amp.

so
:animal:
awesome

Duuuude. All my bass GAS is for one of those SG basses. It doesn't necessarily have to be one of the new ones, and I'm not a huge fan of that inlay, but MAN that brown is so sexy.

And I still want a bass vi. But its less pressing for my new band. For the new thing, 4 strings is plenty. Just bringing the thunder.

But for my imaginary looping noise pop thing, bass vi is a must.

Also, just traded my side mount mini for a top mount. So I went from a top mount Mini to a Fuck Mountain to a side mount Mini back to a top mount Mini. But hey, at least I know I'm not getting rid of the Mini. Such a great pedal.

Got some stuff I'll probably up in the B/S/T to get said fuck.

In: Marshall Lead 12 combo. Yes, the ridiculous little open back 1x10" one that seemed like a joke in the 80s. Holds up better than you would think. Very nice around the house tones for super cheap. Looks very rad next to my Pathfinder 15R for Lilliputian MBV vibe. Or I could get an 18 inch Stonehenge monument, so long as the dwarves don't tread on it.

Some how this happened by accident today…Walked in to pick up a guitar getting new pickups and walked out with a "used" but feels unplayed Bottom Master…set up octave down, E to E. Ridiculously awesome...
