But I guess on a different note, found out I have bulimia. Didnt even realize that shit could happen cause of mental trauma. Explains why I've felt so off these past few months. Fuck me.

Sunday I drove for 9 hours to eastern Tennessee, and we set up our tent last minute, in the dark.
Today I drove 5 hours out to see the eclipse, and another 9 getting back. Got back in the dark (10PM) again. It's so frustrating to set up a campsite so late.

So, of the past 48 hours, roughly 23 have been spent in a car. And tomorrow we already have to leave, so another 7 hours or so, and we haven't even gotten to explore this absolutely fucking gorgeous area around us.

All of this to stare at the sun for 2 minutes. I'm so tired of being in the car...

The mountain roads are pretty awesome/scary though. I felt like a rally driver!

Sorry to hear.

Thanks dude. She says she's going to be okay after a couple procedures, and her parents came in to take care of her. I just wish I could do something. They haven't caught the motherfucker who did this yet.
That's terrible, so sorry for you and your girl. I'm glad she will be okay.

I am reeling from injury to injury. I can't manage a whole good day, let alone a couple in a row. I just want some peace of mind, some stability.

Thanks guys for the support. She has surgery on Friday, they have to fix her eye socket and cheekbone and put in plates. She has very beautiful cheekbones so frankly this incident isn't just a horrifying crime, it's an affront to God.

naw lol I'm totally destroyed. made crazy zap sounds then poof my friend was like WHOA IT'S ON FIRE!! he wasn't kidding  last practice I noticed the prongs on the power chord were hella loose, but I totally forgot. the bullet smoke came from the transformer area..wonder if it's related. luckily my homie who works on amps literally lives a few blocks away so it's not a giant head ache but hopefully it's nothing ridiculously expensive. I was really looking forward to pushing air today

Transformers are always a pain in the ass man, luckily we live in a day and age where you can actually get them as a customer and have a knowledgeable type person install it/them for you.

I mean that's not too outrageous, but it's not like replacement stuff for vintage Fender amps! It could be something totally unrelated, like one of the oldass carbon comp resistors going up in flames, that happened to my Bassman. Most of the DC sides of vintage amps are not fused, so who knows. When was the last time you had the filter caps replaced? Hope its a cheap repair man!
