They're my two favorite combos, so it's a hard choice. My boring utilitarian brain gravitates towards the black/black, but the jazz type bass I just sold was burst and black and it looked sweet. So I kind of miss it.

I am always down for the burst. Just something about the stained colors that does it for me.

I went ahead and ordered the burst/black/maple and added on black hardware as well. That's how I had my SB4000 bass, except it had birdseye maple. I have no clue why I did that, I'm not into figured woods on my instruments, I think I just went option nuts with my first made to order bass.
Now the long wait.

Sweet fender
tried out the Sound City, I didn't take it out fully but it looks like someone completely did an overall on it, hell not even a scratchy pot or anything when I was fucking with it.

Been jamming this all day. That guitar tone is damn near perfect.

the tone is pretty sweet almost getting to where it's too polished for me.

Finally got the hang of it now. Their older stuff is a little bit more raw, with more bass featured.

I really dig that Herder track, big time. Kind of sludgy, kind of noise rock, I dig it.
It just hit me today that I'm waiting on a new amp and a new bass. The Dunwich is built, just waiting on the head shell to get made, the order for the Carvin bass should be in the system today since I ordered it on Friday afternoon. Now I'm itchy all over. I might need to buy a cheap pedal with overnight shipping or something to get fixed up.

Both tracks from this band are rad, I'm gonna have to look into them when I'm home
