for fuck sake. these bands of mine can never win, we got our fucking camera with all our set footage of tonight stolen. so that's it, the band is dead and we have nothing to show for it.

edit: annnnnnnnd i just found out a whole lot more of gear was stolen from one of our guitar players. fuck everything. fuck people. fuck this shitty city.

It's always so crushing when people get their gear stolen, I guess scouring CL and calling all the local music/pawn shops is worth doing though.

I'm so very sick of playing in bands.

Or at least bands that make music of my dreams but consist of people who:
- can't show up on time
- lie about why they are always late (these are shit lies like "the bus left too early" etc when everyone knows they're just lazy and can't be arsed to be on time)
- won't inform you they're (at least 30mins) late until you're already at the practice space
- can't make sure they have gear in place that makes it possible for them to rehearse without someone else lending them stuff (even if people remind them to fix their broken amp/buy new picks). This is not due to lacking finances btw
- expect to borrow better/proper gear from the studio if/when we get to a recording, just because it happened once before.
- do this for 5+ years and then get pissed the 2-3 times when somebody points out that it's annoying and that it shows a lack of respect

Yeah, so fed up with it.

panicprone, every single bullet point you made there was that band in a nutshell. thankfully i work at the local gc, so i'll be able to keep my eyes put for any scumbag trying to come in and sell my banate's gear to us. and thankfully our drummer lives at the venue we played so he's going around the neighborhood to see if there's any word and to check put the local pawns.

I just slept for 16+ hours. Fuck I hate when that happens. Waking up with a headache, dehydrated, confused, back hurts. Ugh.

I'll trade you sleep schedules. Cure your back problem...
