I had to tear apart my setup while the song was going, trying to figure out what the fuck was happening. Ended up just plugging straight into the amp. Basically ruined two songs. This is the second show this has happened at, but I can't replicate the problem during rehearsals or at home, so I have no idea what the fuck is going on. I was furious.
It happened again! At a different venue! It's definitely something going on with my setup. I use a 1-spot to power three pedals and and a separate power supply to power that thirsty RE-20 and I also use a synth which has its own power supply. Is maybe the extra unused spots on the 1-spot shorting out? Or is there something weird electrically about plugging in a few power supplies into one or two power strips?

can say for sure, and yet not 100% that, having this happen to myself....having three or more onespots..in certain places, on old strips, create some magnetic field influx-ion and one goes outa wack or somthing

...but your daisy-chaining..doubt its the two unused... unless..pics of rig>?...are you using the same strips everywhere you go? some strips can probably only take so much after time, especially with adapters other than onespots on board..and I read that you should replace them more often than you think

This time I couldn't see any dimming, but was still not getting any signal. Sound guy was taking a DI of the amp and said he wasn't getting anything either, so I just unplugged from my board and went straight in, which bypassed whatever was going on. I just use the house power strips so that's different every time too.

looks like you will have to take your board apart and try to locate the culprit ... :-(

and now i just got off the phone with my drummer, who pulled me back in just for this show that we've cancelled twice now but it's back on since he managed to get everyone to reconcile their differences. i just want to cry. i'm so fed up with these guys but i don't wanna ruin this for anyone, i've bit my lip, talked the guitarist out of his rage, but i'm mentally and physically exhausted from them.
