I don't know that many people up that way but I'll pass it on. If Atlanta doesn't work out I may be able to get you a show in Macon.

van_muddlestein wrote:Also, Conky...bro, that shit is ridiculous. Love it.

Thanks man. Glad people are digging it.

If we could share the stage with y'all, I'd be down for whatever, man. Message me or email me. Let's make some magic happen.

I'll see what I can do., It'll take me a few days to get it started because I'm leaving to go on vacation tomorrow.

Last night was our second show in a row where we killed the power to the venue multiple times during our set. I think it's narrowed down to mine and the bassist's rigs being on the same outlets. We ended up splitting them up and it fixed it. Do some amps pull more power than others? His head is 1,000 watts but I didn't think that would be the cause of it. I do know that when he would hit certain notes though it would make me dizzy as fuck while we played.

It was our second time in that city and we felt like a legit band because we sold enough merch before we even played to cover the cost of our gas and uhaul rental. That shit has never happened before (and I don't expect it to ever happen again).

That rules dude. Sounds like a good ass gig.

Can't comment on the power shit. Just stoked on doom bros ruling.

It was a great show last night. Got to see Boris, Atlas moth and Sub Rosa. Now I got Whores on thursday!

And I know the feeling Skip, I'm just getting ready to post some more things that I need to get rid of to rebuild my funds. I am probably going to sell both my agiles. So if anyone wants a seven string les paul style guitar or a bass iv style agile harm then let me know.

Saw Boris with Atlas Moth and Subrosa on Saturday in DC. Holy shit.

Had never listened to Subrosa but they were awesome. Any band that can pull off doom with two dueling violins is a win in my book. SUPER heavy.
Atlas Moth was pretty cool too.

Was BY FAR the best set I'd seen by Boris. I'd seen them once after Pink came out, and once after Smile came out, and those were great sets, but they didn't really play much older stuff.

But on Saturday, man, they played a little of everything. From the newer J Pop/Dance stuff, to some Akuma No Uta, to Pink, to Smile, to some Flood-esque jams mixed in with Noise, before finally closing with some MAMMOTH sounding Amplifier Worship stuff. Ohhhhh it was so good.

Glad you had a good show - and blowing the power in venues unlocks some sort of doom achievement, right? So does playing shit so loud that it messes with your equilibrium.

What say you bros?

Sell my bassman cab and carry on using rig as it is, or put the really good eminence speakers in my bassman cab and sell off the other fender cab?

Bassman cab is big and big and heavy and has omni-directional speakers, whilst the current fender cab is lighter and known to be fairly reliable. Bassman might fetch more, but shipping is almost double, and it's one of the less desirable cabs because it had pretty crap stock speakers.

Opinionz fellow flipperz

Bassman has more potential to be awesome. I'm all about getting some old crappy cab for cheap and putting new speakers in. I just eep the old ones in case I want to sell it on for something better. The 2x12 sun enclosures I use were like that. Stock speakers were only 85 watts and they were not worth much. was cheaper than buying some top of the line thing.
