So as far as I know, my father is ok. I think I mentioned a few pages back that they don't believe his growth to be cancerous...though I'm not sure how they come to those conclusions and would feel better if someone would have bothered explaining it to me other than my dad.
Here's hoping it is in fact ok because his next check up is not until November. To me seems like gross incompetence on the doctors part to not check it sooner than that, especially given the fact that he has it grow larger since last November and it's obstructing his airway. What do I know though??
So because of that I lost a few jobs (not huge but I needed the money) and had booked a flight I had to cancel and I'm pretty sure we lost money on that as well. All for no real answers in my opinion but my parents feel better. I guess I'll just sit here with a stone in my gut for the next 6 months or whatever...it's cool.
Also, my brother is getting a divorce and my parents along with my brother are trying to paint my soon to be ex sister in law as the devil incarnate. Which, I know is not the truth. She isn't a perfect angel but my brother is a huge dick head most of the time and their relationship has been fucking awful. They have two kids together and she has a third from a previous relationship. I'm worried about the kids and mostly my little niece who could potentially end up even more mentally screwed up than she already is. She already has a dead beat dad, now my brother could be abandoning her, which I don't say because of the divorce, but because "she's not his kid" (his words...even after being around her for six years). I can only offer her love and treat her as my own which I have since day one. It tears me up though. I refuse to let there be a divide because the other half can't get his shit together. I'm not going to lose family. I value them too much.

I forgot that Cuervo Especial isn't very good tequila.
...but I'm also too broke for anything better.

Not even Stephen Fry's narration can save that show.

Being self employed is still hard and none of the problems seem to get easier through the years. I have spend countless hours trying to get ahead of said problems and I never have enough money and/or time to do so, no matter how much we grow.
Feeling pretty defeated lately between work and politics. I have been trying not to just get drunk every night and say fuck it, but jesus. I need a break badly.
