Got my copy of the book yesterday. Read through the prologue and had a good laugh. I haven't gotten any further but I like wait I've got so far. I like the biting wit and cynicism.
My wife and I laughed because we're the same age as you, (Trey) and my wife's sister is several years younger. She's a total snowflake. This book is gonna have me rollin' in laughter and introspection.

We are hoping to get it made into a backdrop. Kinda slacking on getting that done though. Gotta find someone who will make it without costing us out the ass.
Also, I get paid this week so I will be hitting you up about ordering a copy of your book.
That would make a really rad backdrop. And yeah man, hit me up. From what you've posted on here, your kid is in exactly zero danger of becoming a shithead, but that's probably why you will (hopefully) like the book.

Glad you dig so far. I've had that same experience. I looked at people like 4 years younger than me and I'm like 'what the fuck happened in such a short period of time?' The answer, of course, is self-esteem in it's modern form.
Thanks for all the support dudes. You're getting me right in mah feels

Yeah, I like to keep the gain at medium on my pedals and amp. It's fun from time to time, but playing a 'wall of sound' all the time on your own in your little shed is not exactly conducive to constant creativity and freshness. I rarely stack dirt pedals for that reason. I feel like a clown basking in the fuzz on my own.

So this thing has been sitting in my room for over a year with a fucked speaker. The Black Widow in it stopped working one day at my last band's practice and I've looked at it and the wires are all hooked up and nothing looks shorted out. I can press my finger around the outer edge of the speaker and the sound comes through. As soon as I let off of it though it goes silent. I have no idea if it might be a simple fix, but I need a new speaker. What would you guys recommend? Mostly keyboards will be ran into this but I may run guitars into it sometime. What 18s are good for the money?

The summer here in Minneapolis has been amazing, never been too hot, yet. I usually hate summers and can't wait for winter but after having multiple -40 (with windchill) days, fuck winter so hard. At least in Minnesota.
Came here with a question you doom dudes, specifically the bassists. My Hovercraft Andromeda has been killing it for guitar stuff but on bass I'm not quite sold. I need a cheap bass amp to go with my Ampeg 4x10 (it's a Portaflex model). I've heard good things about the Portaflex amps and tried the PF500 in the store for a bit but didn't have my pedalboard or get to crank it. I'd like to keep it around $300 and more portability is always nice. I'm on the list for a Dunwich bass head so eventually I'll have nice tube amp for it but I need something cheaper in the meant time. Really want an Acoustic 370.

Awesome. We only have one copy of the splatter vinyl left. If you want that option just let me know and I'll put it to the side for you.

also hate winter (not the band) I hate cold weather. I'm not that productive during that time, I don't want to work out, I want to hibernate and play video games the entire time. I have to force myself to go record and go to the gym and to even paint something. I hate cold. i'm a reptile so I only start moving when it's warm out.

Man, I'm the opposite. I LOVE the cold, so moving from MS to CO was awesome (for this and about a thousand other reasons). Luckily the summer isn't too hot out here, so even on the hottest days it's generally fairly nice outside. The lack of humidity helps a ton as well.
