My daughter has inspected the new board and approvesAdded a Tym and an El Cap.
Chain -
TC Mini Tuner (comedy size beside the Verellen) -
Wilson Haze Vibe (I bought this just to try it out. Now I use it a lot) -
Tym Civil War ( New addition, old school angry muff with heaps of bottom end) -
BAT LSTR (muff on steroids) -
Malekko B:assmaster Germanium (to be honest, it's kind of mild through my rig but goes bezerk when pushed by the Tym) -
EAD 4096 (90210 delay. Still my favourite delay ever) -
Strymon El Cap (local shop second hand score)
Dirge 3in1 (It's a dirge....and it kills...I think that should be Evan's logo)
Verellen Meatsmoke (Always on. Hit boost to make the rest of my band disappear)
Plan was to sell a couple of pedals to cover the Tym and El Cap because I'm mucho broke but I set this board up and all of the pedals interact really well together. I might just have to embrace some extra debt for a while...
On the Tym - The store is local to me. I wandered in there and got the best shop service and coolest support for trying out pedals I've had in a long time. I got to chain all three tym muff versions up in front of a rig of my choice and just blast away on them. Being based in Australia, I rarely get to try any pedal I buy as most shops stock shite and I buy from the US. Tyms stuff is kind of unobtanium but they now have a policy to always have their standard pedals in store. Really cool of them and I had a ball. Thought I would go for their take on a green russian but preferred the grind of the civil war. Tried a rams head too - ridiculous sustain! Would love a pedal that just sustains like that.
