Good choice. Want to try the FP Noir real bad
The STEP is "old school" but girthy and surprisingly versatile. 141G is like HEAVY madness fuzz party

I have huge gas for the paper airplane fuzz just because it seems like a wonderfully whimsical name for a fuzz.

I would totally play the step if I playrd guitar more than bass. Seems killer and raspy.

On some settings it has a surprising amount of bass. It definitely is insanely good on guitar and Bass VI. maybe neon will chime in, he's borrowing it.

Hrmmm. I'd be intrigued about how well the octave setting works with bass.

Its awesome on bass!
The octave sounds really cool on bass too, but it definitely cuts some lows. Not like the Buzzz octave that adds all those crazy subs. But its still really cool. Almost gets some ring mod cleans like what I've heard on the Fuzzmaster General. Without the octave, its still a really girthy buzzy fuzz. Plenty of lows and mids. Cuts through a mix really well.
And its a really good price new too. I would definitely give it a try if you're looking for new dirt but don't know what to get.

I usually use a keyboard air duster, but I don't think that'll help with piss. I guess I'd say to try a slightly damp tooth brush?

Lately I've been thinking of getting a DD-7 but that external tap switch is grotesquely huge.
Anyone have any experience with an Ibanez Echo Shifter? Been looking at downgrading my delay to something simpler but I still want tap tempo. This seems to be a good contender, especially since I can find one used for around $125.
I really like mine, it's my main delay. That said it's pretty murky a lot of the time and the modulation is almost always over the top. Perfect for what I need but not exactly a "do everything" delay.
Unrelated, used my Fuck for the entirety of my high gain tone on bass vi the other day and it was glorious. I'm starting to realize that as much as I love fuzz it's an effect more so than an always on for me. Overdrive is just way more clear with chords in the bass register
