OK

i am very sorry to say that after messing around further i found out the ACTUAL reason for the delay ghost and it is a minor mis-wiring. somehow i lived up to it's namesake and completely forgot how the damn thing was supposed to function.

the range knob should NOT affect the delay time when modulation is bypassed. sigh...
this makes for a 10000000x better pedal experience with way more useable options.

that being said, it will be impossible for me to do the fixes until i return from tour. i will of course pay for shipping both ways and will do whatever i can to make people psyched about the pedal, rather than bummed about the inconvenience. i will email all of those affected immediately in the morning and thanks a million billion trillion zillion for your patience ahead of time.

*edit* also, if you enjoy the ghost feature, we can leave it and/or have it internally switchable. :p

Woah, internal switch (or possibly external?), awesome! :D
Just thinking along, should I not accept the package and have it sent your way right away, that way we'd skip the shipping costs from me to you right?

it would really have to be internal to fit nicely.
as for the package - maybe? i *think* it would just be shipped back to me but i'm not totally sure about that process. idk

Does this mean those of us that haven't received our pedals yet should expect the fix already done when they arrive or have they already shipped?

I think the new wiring will be freaking awesome.
It'll be like this one weird trick to making your live delay sound killer.

I'm glad to hear you stepping up and making sure everyone gets theirs fixed. I think shipping from Norway is pretty expensive. If I'm right, I'll gladly chip in on the shipping cost in exchange for an internal switch. Enjoy the rest of the tour and try not to worry too much about it. I'm liking the funky settings, even though I'd also like to hear it as you first imagined it.

No problem, man! As I said, I was able to dial out the ghost, and get some awesome sounds out of the pedal. So there's really no rush to get it fixed. In a way, I'm glad it wasn't just my mind playing tricks on me. The way you explained it, the settings I use are actually a bit extreme. Hey, if you make a production version without a mod-switch, you could make a momentary ghostfeedbackswitch.

And as UC said, I'll be happy to pay for shipping from Norway.

I think with the revised wiring (and less interaction between range and time) the mod stomp switch is a definite must. If worse comes to worse find a different name for the switch to better describe its effect, but it essentially allows you to set a normal nice setting and a holy-shit-theres-tape-spooling-onto-the-floor-aaaargh-my-album setting. Apart from the lag (which I am starting to fucking love) it makes it a really useful and individual delay. Delays are almost passé now, there are so many with "switchable modulation", but to come with such a spin on it, that's actually unique and makes it stick out from the crowd.

DO IT!

For me as long as it works it doesn't really have to fit nicely, it could be on the side of the enclosure, I'd put the ghost echo function on a footswitch if possible, but I'm cray like that. :D
I don't know exactly either how that works with return packages, I'll try to find out.

Dude, goroth, no comprende, you mean you like the "faulty" wiring which is the "holy-shit-theres-tape-spooling-onto-the floor-aaaargh-my-album setting" right, or are you referring to something else with that?
Oh man, I'm gassing hard for mine to get here, so far the video's have been so insanely awesome!
