So since I had to take mine apart anyway to paint and etch it, I just put it in a different case. It turned out great and it sounds amazing! I don't remember it sounding so good! Did you make some changes since the tourbox? Or maybe I didn't have time to mess with it like I wanted. Who knows.
Oh and where do you get those bulbs from Andrew? They are so damn big. LOL. I like them.

so I received this today
it's
incredible. I think I had some trouble at first because of a faulty power cable. it would go into random permanent oscillation or produce that 'drum beat' feedback shit even when everything was dialed to zero.. it would dip out and in real quick when I engaged the effect. was thinking I wouldn't be able to throw it on in the middle of a song. I was pretty worried it was faulty considering the instructions said it could play with a daisy chain.. but after giving it it's own power supply the thing started singing. sounded just like I hoped, like fucking
godspeed. I tell everyone that's what this pedal sounds like and they just don't get it. it's the dirtiest end of the fucking world sound. all hope lost. it's very defining with the high toggle, but even with the low it sings 'what fuckin now?'. I feel the pedal is at it's 'norm' with the length switch down; up - all hell breaks loose. I guess that's what the momentary switch does? haven't tried it with the length up, but everything maxes out and eventually dies. I thought you could still play with it engaged, but it all goes absolutely shit then kind of sizzles out. it's fucking beautiful. I would liken the drone dial to the fuck od's crackle in a way. still figuring it out, though. the pre and post gain are AMAZING in their own right but can get really fucking wild if you're playing with dirt, lol. it's like no other reverb you've fucked with. so many options especially with the 'dual' reverb circuits and depth. all in all, it's easily the most inspiring/beautiful pedal I've encountered in a
long time. amazing job, intothegroove! I want an echo degrader even more now.

Fuck.
I thought my big purple monster was sexy (twss), but that looks fucking awesome. Is that the new stock finish? Custom? Whatever it is, hot damn!
As for the sounds, yup. Nothing like it. Just one of the most inspiring pieces of gear ever.

You're giving me GAS even though I got mine 10 days ago, resincum
I got it just as I was leaving town for Xmas. Just got back and it's too late for me to play with it, dammit. I've had enough complaints from the neighbours this year. I'll work on getting a demo done by next week. And yes, Mr. Meow, it's the new look. I do believe me and resin got the first two made in the smaller enclosure/new dirty design. It's a very pleasing look. Intothegroove keeps killing it.
I'll have trouble sleeping now. Tomorrow will be my personal christmas morning!

haha! whenever I'm not playing with it I'm thinking about cranking it. I feel you

I'm getting some crazy boards of canada-esque sounds with the freeze in front of it.. began writing a song incorporating the momentary switch as well, it's such a magical piece of equipment. I can't get over how everything builds up, blows out simultaneously and then dies out.. like how the fuck do you wire/program that? and yes intothegroove is the master of disaster

. can't wait to see what he does next (as far as enclosures AND circuitry

)

I am so glad you're enjoying it dude!

Ya you know it's weird, it's been the same with other peoples power situation when they use power bricks, did you use an isolated power brick? I use a Carl Martin Powerjack, it's really good quality and supplies 2,000mA! Works when chained with other pedals as well when I use it, I'm still trying to get that figured out with different power supplies, my circuits are really obscure including the power section plus different supplies have different polarities and power ratings. But it'll work fine on it's own 9V supply. Thank you so much for the awesome review and your thoughts and feeling about it

It was a pleasure

I just spent four hours zoning out. The pedal is a work of art...no, it's witchcraft! It's
extremely versatile, to the point where it feels like a shame to not to own two, or wishing you could save presets to it. I'm actually considering selling my Context reverb now (if you've read my posts you know I worship that pedal). It just feels limited and redundant in comparison. The sonic spectrum of the RM-1N is actually unfathomable. It can do chime, eunuch choir, classic spring, mid-size room, huge dungeons, spit, glitch, crackle, growl, drone, drive your tubes, harmonize frequencies, oscillate in the background or just eat the entire note you're playing. Even turning off the verb and using it as a straight up fuzz pedal sounds wonderful. It was it's own character and is highly tweakable. Just when you think you've found all there is to be found, you flip a switch, engage the momentary footswitch, adjust one of the NINE knobs ever so slightly or mess with the tone knob on your guitar, and there's a new effect to explore. I'm very excited about exploring the pedal more and seeing how it interacts with other pedals.
I...I think I love you, Andrew.

What does the drone knob do?
