Whilst I was away this arrived! I've installed a new nut since taking the photographs and aged the white and inlays, but other than that - she's perfect!

Also have been building some wahs, tattoo foot switches, custom stuff etc but that will all be revealed in due time… it's good to be back! :excellent:

I've always loved the look of those guitars. The fact that no one is making a $1000 well made copy for electric guitars is beyond me.

Because Ric is terrifyingly protective of their copyrights :thumb:

Ahh, I see. Well, they should make a 6-string version around the 1K mark.

If you look into that company, they have a very, uh, particular way of doing business. And by that I mean that they do things one way and sue anyone that tries to concoct an affordable workaround.

I still want a 4003 or a 4001 though.

Right on. Downloading now -- will pay them for wax.

I thought of a really good bong pun the other day. Saving it for a novelty 7".

The King sits on his porcelain throne,
but empties not his bowels.
He only stares into his phone,
typing messages quite foul.
Proclaiming with a boastful pride
how he has schooled his sheltered bride,
in the midst of his bathroom caper.
When the heavy splash comes round,
a gasp of horror he does sound,
for he is out of toilet paper.

I respect that. Not the suing, obviously, but I like when a company sticks to an ideology. It's frustrating, of course, but you don't hear people asking EGC to make their guitars in Korea for $1k because it's not their mission, and I think most people know that and respect it. Still, it's annoying because you know you'll never have the money to afford one.

I did lol. I'm on Descent right now, and it's fucking incredible! I've got the wine colored vinyl coming sometime, but I couldn't wait.

They are themselves. I think some of their usual distros picked up a couple of copies though.
