I've finally stopped falling over unexpectedly--though i still have symptoms occasionally where i have to stop what i'm doing and hang on/sit down--but now i'm having trouble making my brain work. I can hardly write, which sucks since my job is writing, and all i want to do is sleep and hug my kitty. I'm getting behind in my work, which gets busy this time of year, and i'm worried about it. i can't even enjoy smoking pot because it makes me dizzy and i'm afraid i'll fall down.

My Graphics card fucking died, right when I don't have the resources to replace it.
It lasted 5 years of non-stop use, so I guess I had it coming.
Still sucks.

I need to be in Florida by Saturday morning for a cruise I'm recording, and Jet Blue just canceled my flight Friday because of a snow storm tonight through Thursday afternoon. They have given me 0 alternatives and have stopped taking calls.

It's Wednesday.
Get your blues brothers on. Route 1 the whole way.

I would enjoy that, but I don't have a car (nyc). I thoroughly miss driving.
But, I have other stuff to record in NY on Thursday. And deadlines to meet for mixes and mastering.
I have booked a second flight with another airline since literally no other airline has canceled for Thursday; or canceled for Friday, 24 hours after the storm.

JetBlue has now decided, without my input to book me on a flight to buffalo Saturday Night and then to Florida on Sunday and are still refusing to talk to me.

Take a train, about 30hr to get there in ideal conditions but much less stressful imo.
You can move around and meet people, kick it in the lounge car or bury your face in video games.
Good naps too

My backup is to take a train to DC and fly out of there. Can't really do that long train ride because I have to do an event in NY from 8-9 pm Thursday.
I do have an MC 303 I plan to mess with on my travels, big thanks to morange

I hurt my knee at work and now I'm out for a bit. I'm still on a 90 day probationary period as I'm a new hire. My supervisor is a cool guy and said my job isn't going anywhere but it's hard not to worry about it. I already had some time off to address the knee but I went back and the third day back - yesterday - I had to stop an hour into work. I may get worker's comp, not sure, it's just shitty timing and now I feel useless.
Though I guess I can sit around icing it and making new Pitchfactor presets. Going to have to be super tight with money though.

Had a guy call up today to tell me that a repair from
two months ago had a crack in the frame from shipping and now his customer won't pay him. So, he wants me to replace that frame for free as warranty.
I make sure to ship all of my repairs for the full value of the intercom (~$1000) for this type of scenario, but when you decide to not tell me until two months later, there's nothing that I can do for you.

Ingot sprung with a day in the office tonprepare a document/report for a government body this morning as soon as I walked in the door, and i dont think the data I'll have to pull from to do it is even accurate because the rest of my staf body couldnt be fucked reporting incidents accurately and my bosses dont enforce it.
And im listening to them try to baulk and bullshit their way out of training staff in a practice that has been mandated by the same authority because its going to be "a bit expensive ".
Fucks sake.
