for what it's worth that's definitely a two-way street.

Don't wanna muck up this thread with ideological discussions. I guess this thread's more just for unjudgemental griping. So, maybe I shouldn't've even commented. :idk:

If you'd like, we can continue the conversation in the politics thread.

(I miss very few points and if you've noticed, I use that IDK smiley all the time.)

Yeah, I read an account of Shields' experience. It was sickening. Mob mentality has no ideology.

While my post was political I didn't want to post it political/Trump thread cause of where the thread is now - didn't want to drop that in middle of the conversation there, but I get the point about not posting it here. It just fit the criteria of the thread title to me.

no, you are fine, I created this thread to post things that bug you and shit

And while in other threads people can complain about you being negative and going too far in other threads I refuse the idea of holding back! this thread is the padded cell to scream in :thumb:

here's one.

ILF member in TX received my end of a $500-600 pedaltrade on Jan 26 only to have them returned to me TODAY.
essentially i paid just under $17 to send him 3 pedals and have him constantly fib about shipping mine.
3 phone calls and a wall of text messages is what it took for him to finally send them Thursday via 2-day priority.
besides, he decided unilaterally to send my pedals back- didn't even ask about following through w/ the original deal.

was he just trying mine out ? did he lose or damage his ? does it matter ?

i can EASILY understand life handing you lemons and people getting sick, losing jobs, etc. plenty of times i've refunded someone's $ or
heard some unfortunate stuff that i had to work around. no biggie.
none of this is what i was presented with. it's like he was simply stressed and deciding whether or not to drag me into his pity party.
strange phrases like "i'm not going to scam you man !"
oh cool, that's really reassuring. meanwhile you're dragging ass on sending me back my own gear. don't tell someone you've dropped a box
off at a dropoff location and then A DAY OR TWO LATER admit that it's still not gone out. WTFBBQ

[[ he even asked me on Thurs morning via phone if our pedal-trade-gone-sour was the reason he was having difficulty logging into ILF. ]]

after thinking about it today and getting some vocal support on Offsetguitars, i decided to just open the shit up.

if you're having difficulty even moments after agreeing to a buy/sell/trade, BE HONEST and up front ASAP. the vast majority of us
won't even really be irked. if you're counting on your GF to ship a pricey amount of gear a day or two after the-other-guy has already
sent his, you're likely to have a rough time. worse still if you promise to get to it right away, and you take a whole extra week to get your ass in gear.

i literally had to explain to this forum member HOW TO OBTAIN a USPS tracking #. "no, don't take my box to the post office and try to 'return or reject it' for Christsakes, please just relabel it, send it via 2-day priority, and send me a photo of the receipt."

Soooooo, who was it?
Was it a regular or one of the B/S/T-ers that don't actually participate in the forum?

get my shit back, but i didn't want to drop names & have things get hellacious on me.
