I've been worried about that with the Particle. Part of what's holding me back.

It's why I almost sold mine, but now I think the amazing sounds it makes are probably worth keeping it, though I dunno if I'd have it on a constant gigging board if I needed one, because if you needed more than one sound, the tweaking is annoying and it can be fiddly to get the same thing. But as a recording/fun tool? It's incredible.

having a lot of fun with this setup
presets on a tremolo are amazing to have and the ability to adjust the time in which each preset changes into another one yields awesome sounds.

This is awesome. :thumb:

unff, your board is always so nice. so neat and i totally get how that would excel for live use.
where do you put the RV-3 in the chain? I have mine pre-dirt but i'm considering getting another for the end of the chain. every time i get another verb i just flip it because i prefer the sound of the RV-3.

I used to have the rv3 before my dirt but I prefer it after almost everything(especially tremolo). I really only use mode 2 with the time around 11ish and repeats around 3.
my deluxe pitch pirate is before the mini and crimson. I think modulated delay sounds better and aggressive before fuzz.

the chain is poly>bit>dpp>amt>crimson>mini>empress>organ>rv3>part>sibling>dl4

yeh man, it's like having an expression pedal that controls the speed, but you're also rifling through presets that have different rhythms and wareforms(and volume). when it goes from a smooth, moderate speed trem to a fast chop(with an odd rhythm) and then into something else, there's a lot of fun to be had.
mind you there's 8 different rhythms and 8 preset slots.

loop that shit on the dl4 and hit half speed.

That's a bukowski build
it's a distortion
I think it's a culture jam circuit
similar to a lovepedal super lead
Bukowski is not responsible for the paint job
I butchered it all by myself

Working with a bass player now so the bass fuzz comes off the board. Other changes have taken place. I am very content with the current setup. Douglas Corvis baritone through a Sun A212 combo and Egnater Tweaker 88 in stereo.
