My modest first full setup. I'm happy. Only thing I'm really looking into now is the behringer bcr2000 controller for the Juno. Menus, while doable, are for the birds.

What the four-knobber to the far left in the pedal chain?

The JP08 just showed up today, so, I'm still trying to decide how I want to run the control options. But right now I'm using the electribe to send sequence data to the JP08, and it's also sending a sync signal to the minilogue via the volca sync. I can't decide which I like more: playing the minilogue with its keys, or with the electribe's pads. Both are useful in their own way, but I think I prefer using the keys to create melodies.

The downside with running it like this is the minilogue's limited to its 16 step sequencer. The minilogue has some crazy useful midi/syncing options. It's a bit of a swiss army knife that way. There might be a way to let the electribe play the minilogue's synth while I play the electribe with the minilogue's keys..... Still trying to figure it out. If I end up liking the electribe+jp08 combo enough I might flip the minilogue.

If you like the JP-08 enough, would you use the electribe to sequence/play that like you're dping with the minilogue now, then use the minilogue as its own stand alone sequencer/melody maker?

I'm really bad at explaining this suff, but that's exactly what I'm doing right now. I use the electribe to play the JP08 while the minilogue's off on its own. I'm using the jp08 for pads/atmosphere while the minilogue does more melodyish stuff, and the electribe fills in the beats and adds simple synth sounds if I need them.

I'm considering using the electribe to sequence the minilogue as well, but I'm not sure I like making melodies with trigger pads instead of keys....

mwah hah. see, you wire the Mini into the Electribble, and vice versa. record into the pattern in the Electrubs with the Mini, then you'll have an up to 64 step pattern that your recorded with keys not pads, then play it back into the Mini for sequencings.

boop?

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO DO!! I'm not sure the mini will let me do that, though. It lets me disconnect the keyboard from the internal synth, but I'm not sure it will route the incoming midi to the mini's synth engine? I'll play around with it when I get home and report back.
