fucking fanned frets.

But I did change my strings for the first time in like 4 years the other day, and set up the intonation.

ITS A SIGN.

I really want this bass, but it costs lots of money. This equation does not end well.
whoever gets that bass should wear this shirt:

Noob. Think the strings on my pbass (GHS groundwounds) are like 10+ years old at this point. The rounds on my fretless pbass aren't much younger. :joy:

I don't know if I like multi scale or not. Its almost too wanky but then again I am a shitty bass player who makes wankey noises with no purpose or end.

I change my strings fairly often not because I want to but I play like a goddam gorilla and break the mother fuckers all the time.

lol. i appreciate the sentiment, but that suh, is going to be more bumping than a Freaky Friday The 13th Half Off Lap Dance Special Night at the local mid level strip club.

i still enjoy noodling on bass, but having way more fun with synth'ins?

also, and this sucks. my hands hurt kinda... most of the time. hard to enjoy clinky clanging on Thick Boi strings.

how y'all doing? Chanksta? Dosey Dose? Based Lord Mothership? MAXIMUM MAPS?

Oh god did I miss your posting

I am good, had to take a almost 5 year long break from playing music. Long story short was that other musicians in the area suck and I was not having any fun, so I said fuck it and sold everything and dropped off the deep end. Six months ago after my second child was born I realized that music was something that was missing from my life. So a large credit card bill later and the blessing from the wife, I have returned and I actually have a desire to create something and not just buy shit and flip it. I really enjoy spending time playing - its way more rewarding than getting own by some neckbeard loard

But I am probably gonna do it, no lies. After all I am a bass player - I have to keep the hurrr durr reputation up.

All good sir! Have shifted to a slightly larger flat since we're both WFH full time now, still living in London, & my girlfriend and I are in the process of adopting a cat (PISICA! PIIIIIISSSSSSSIIIIIIICCCCCCAAAAAAA) so that's been a recent bout of excitement since having animals in the city is a long road to travel full of many hoops. Doing more band stuff than bleep-and-BWOMM stuff recently. We're in a state of perpetual lockdown and haven't really been anywhere since March, which kinda sucks, but generally things are all right. I sold out and bought a SansAmp because no gigs and no practice space anywhere is safe.

How's things in the Yarea?

Once again TB has proved to be useless. In less than a day I found all the parts I needed for my old SVT-II Pro through googling rather than their help after asking them.

The only useful info I EVER found on TB was the output polarity of the Ampeg V-4 and the previous owner of my 70s SVT 8x10 posted about it and opened it up for help getting it dated properly so I never had to.
