I wanna get a B3 for my bass modulation/delay/reverb needs... It's supposed to be awesome for that... what do you think of it?

Very different actually. The ghost echo is more "springy". It is my always on pedal. It breaths some more life into the megalith. A nice little thickener (even though the megalith brings the thickness). I use the RRR for its 100% wet capabilities and use it to make my feedback sound other-worldly and ethereal. The RRR sounds like a dark cavern and the ghost echo is more for a subtle enhancer. Honestly the best way I can describe its sound is that it gives me a little extra oomph by breathing life into the fuzz. It just reacts so perfectly with dirt.
the ghost echo is definitely the secret key to my sound. My favorite thing to do is to keep the depth and dwell low and turn the attack to noon - this way I don't lose clarity or get too muffled and lost in the mix. It almost acts as a slight slapback delay. Let the fuzz breath!!!

Noxnoctus, how do you like that source audio modulator?

It's fantabulous! Lots of tasty treats tucked in that pedal... I'm learning the ropes, never been huge on the whole chorus/flanger family of effects, but I'm learning how to effectively place them to add some interesting fringes to basslines.
Once I learn that I'll attempt to rig everything together with a Hot Hand

I just picked up the OFD as well. The Octave Fuzz on it alone is worth the admission price!

It's my Swiss Army Knife box. The Reverb on it isnt half bad, I'm planning on going to the Dimension Reverb once I get over the fact I need a secondary pedalboard for all my extra shit like expression pedals and the like

There's some cool phaser effects, I really dig the Trigger Delay. That, with a pinch of Reverb, into the Looper, oooh....lurvely

Eeey!

Yeah, I grabbed that for 50 at this awesome little combination record store/skate shop/used electronics place in this town I was recording in (I don't remember the name, but it was somewhere in Harrisonburg, VA.) It's awesome, sounds as amazing as DOD delays do, and has that hold function. In essence I have 4 looping devices (DL4 which is always for looping/Headrush ditto/FX94/PDS2000).
space6oy wrote:welcome! what's that on/been done to the rat?
That's a random gold hummingbird sticker I found, so now its a (Sun) Ra.
monkeydancer wrote:Hell yes! Looks like an awesome setup (could do with more fuzz though

Yeah, I'm probably gonna grab something like a sovtek big muff or fuzz factory or something equally stupid. I wouldn't mind a ring mod pedal too actually.

Yeah yeah! That place is fucking wonderful, I'm gonna spend the rest of my life wondering why we don't have something like that here in Richmond.

Seriously. We've got Metro Music and that's really about it in terms of decent places. :/ Metro's little cary st location had kinda cool stuff sometimes, but of course now it's another salon. You'd think with the amt of musicians in rva a little place to b/s/t used music gear would do really well, but I dunno. Maybe craigslist fills that void.

RVA represent!
Metro sound sucks. Overpriced and rude IMO. Craigslist is pretty solid round here though I find.
